The equipment is designed exclusively for use as an additional heater in dry, closed rooms. It is designed to be operated only when placed on the fl oor. The equipment is to be used only for its prescri- bed purpose. Any other use is deemed to be a case of misuse. The user / operator and not the manufacturer will be liable for any damage or inju- ries of any kind caused as a result of this. Please note that our equipment has not been de- signed for use in commercial, trade or industrial applications. Our warranty will be voided if the machine is used in commercial, trade or industrial businesses or for equivalent purposes.

5. Before starting the equipment

The equipment can be used indoors in a free standing position. Keep a minimum distance of 50 cm between the housing and walls, combustible materials (furniture, curtains, etc.). The equipment may only be used completely mounted and standing vertically on a stable surface. It is prohibited to operate the equipment on an instable surface (e.g. on a bed). Important! Before using the appliance for the first time, check that the voltage supply is the same as the voltage details set out on the data plate. Read safety instructions listed under section 1.

5.1 Fitting the castors (Fig. 2 – 4)

Important! To prevent damage, place the radiator upside down on a soft surface (for example a carpet).

Place 2 castors (6) on each castor carrier (A) and secure them with the cap nut (B).

Slide the fastening bar (C) under the radiator element (A) and secure the castors carrier with the wing nuts (D). Repeat the above on the last space between the ribs.

If the equipment should topple or fall over, the power supply will be cut off by a safety switch integrated in the equipment. The power supply resumes as soon as the equipment is stood upright again. When the equipment is used for the first time or after a long period of rest it may emit an odor for a short time. This is not a fault.

High heat output – Switch in position „I+II“ The possible output levels are listed in the technical data in point 4. Note: For safety reasons, the heater will switch off at a certain heating rib temperature in order to prevent overheating of the heating ribs at maximum heat Anl_MR_715_2_920_2_1125_2_SPK7.indb 13Anl_MR_715_2_920_2_1125_2_SPK7.indb 13 09.01.2017 14:28:5809.01.2017 14:28:58GB

output. The heater will switch on again and the heating cycle will restart as soon as the heating ribs have cooled down to a certain temperature. This is not an equipment defect.

6.2 Thermostat control/Room thermostat

(Fig. 5 / Item 4): Note: When the equipment is moved to a new location, the thermostat will not work properly until the equipment has adopted the ambient temperature. Switch on the required output using the two function switches. Turn the control to “MAX” until the required room temperature has been reached. Then turn down the control until you hear a clear click. The thermostat control will switch the radiator on and off automatically to maintain the room temperature at an almost constant level. However, this presupposes that the radiator has a sufficient output to cover the heating requirements for the room.
