This manual includes all the necessary instructions and advice for using, cleaning and maintaining the appliance. - Please read the instruction manual carefully before using the device. Please keep these instructions, the guarantee certicate, the sales receipt and, if possible, the carton with the inner packaging.
- This appliance is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the use of the appliance by a person that is responsible for their safety.
- By ignoring the safety instructions the manufacturer can not be hold responsible for the damage.
- To protect children against the dangers of electrical appliances, please make sure that you never leave the appliance unattended. Therefore you have to select a storage place for the appliance where children are not able to grab it. Make sure that the cable is not hanging in a downward position.

2. Burst of steam button
- Carefully read all instructions before using the iron.
- Clean the soleplate with a soft damp cloth before the iron will be used for the rst time.
- Pull out the water tank cover and slowly ll the water tank with clean cold water using the measuring cup.
- Use a at-head screwdriver to set the iron to the correct voltage for the country of use before plugging into the wall outlet.
- Smell or smoke may disperse at the beginning as caused by the warming up of the insulation material. uSe
- Ensure the iron is set to the correct voltage for the country of use before plugging into the wall outlet.
- Lift up the foldable handle, if it is in the folded position.
- Pull out the water tank cover and ll the iron with clean cold water. Watch the water level in the water tank, do not overll.
- Press the water tank cover rmly to close.
- Slide the temperature control to the appropriate ironing temperature, as indicated on the garment’s ironing instructions.
- Rest the iron at upright position and plug into a wall outlet.
- The iron can be used after a warm up time of approximately 2 minutes.
- Set the steam ON/OFF button to steam, If steam ironing is required.
- Press the burst of steam button for strong steam. Burst of steam will not function at low temperature setting.

- For the best results ensure the temperature control is set at near MAX and the water tank is at least ¼ full.
- In areas of very hard water, use distilled water to ll the water tank.
- Pre-heat the iron for 5-10 minutes before ironing for better results.
- To ensure the iron reach the set temperature, wait until the heat up lamp comes on again and then goes o before ironing.
- To maintain constant temperature and steam when using te burst of steam button, allow 2-3 seconds between each shot of steam.
- If water leaks from the soleplate, allow the iron to heat up for 30-60 seconds before continuing ironing.
- Never iron over sharp objects. Such as buttons, studs and zippers, as these will scratch the soleplate.
- Always keep the iron in motion while ironing.
- Always follow the garment’s ironing instructions for the correct ironing temperature. Use of a wrong temperature may damage the fabric. Start with low temperature in the absence of an instruction label.
- If garment consists of mixed fabrics, always try with lower temperature setting.
- Velvet and other fabrics which need shiny sheen should be ironed in one direction with light pressure.
- Iron on the reverse side of polyester fabrics and silk to prevent shiny patches.
- If the water tank runs dry, press the burst of steam button several times after lling to pump the steam. cleaNINg
- Always unplug the device and let it cool down completely before cleaning
- To avoid damage to the soleplate, never use any sharp object or metal utensil to scrap the soleplate
- To remove build up scales in the steam holes, use a cotton wool tip moistened with mild descaling solution.
- Use a soft damp cloth to clean the housing of the device.
- Do not use any abrasive detergent or steel wool to clean the iron, as it may scratch the surfaces.
- Empty any remaining water from the water tank, do not allow water to stay overnight in the water tank.
- Always allow the iron to cool completely before winding the cord around the soleplate. guaRaNTee

- By executing repairs the original warranty period of 2 years will not be extended, nor the right to a complied new warranty. This warranty is only legal on European soil. This warranty does not overrule the European directive 1944/44CE.
- Always keep your receipt, without this receipt you can not claim any form of warranty whatsoever.
- Damage caused by not following the instruction manual will lead to a void of warranty, if this results in consequential damages Tristar will not be liable.
- Tristar will not be liable for material damage or personal injury caused by improper use or if the safety instructions are not properly executed.
- Cleaning, as mentioned in this manual, is the only necessary maintenance for this appliance.
- When the appliance should be repaired, make sure that this will be performed by an authorized company.
- This appliance may not be amended or changed.
- If problems arise during the 2 years from the date of purchase, which are covered by the factory warranty, you can go back to the point of purchase to replace it for a new one.
- For questions or compliances please contact your retailer “point of purchase.”
- This appliance is covered with a 24 month guarantee starting on the date of purchase (receipt).
- Only material or manufacturing defects are included in this warranty.
- If you wish to make a claim please return the entire machine in the original packaging to your dealer together with the receipt.
- Damage to accessories does not mean automatic free replacement of the whole appliance. In such cases please contact our hotline. Broken glass or breakage of plastic parts are always subject to a charge.
- Defects to consumables or parts subject to wearing, as well as cleaning, maintenance or the replacement of these parts are not covered by the guarantee and hence are to be paid!
- The guarantee lapses in case of unauthorized tampering.
- After the expiry of the guarantee repairs can be carried by the competent dealer or repair service against the payment of the ensuing costs.
