If requested, the user must provide their telephone company with the following information:
- The telephone numberbertowhichthe TabletPCisconnected.
- The Ringer EquivalenceNumber(REN) forthisequipment.
- The equipment requires standard modular jacktype USOCRJ-11C which is FCCPart68 compliant.
4.TheFCCRe gistrationNumber.
Thisequipmentisdesignedtobecountedtothetelephonenumberkorpremiseswiring using astandardmodularjacktypeUSOCRJ-11CwhichisFCCPart68compliantandalinecord betweenthemodemandthetelephonenumbernetworkwithaminimumof26AWG.
TheRENisusedtodeterminethenumberofdevicesthatyoumayconnecttoyourtelephone lineandstillhaveallofthosedevicesringwhenyournumberiscalled.Toomanydevices ononelinemayresultinfailuretoringinresponsetoanincom ingcall.Inmost,butnotall, areas the sum of the RENs of all of the devices should not exceed five (5). To be certain of the number of devices you may connect to your line, as determined by the RENs, contact yourlocaltelephonecompany.Ifthisequipmentcausessharmtothetelephonenumber,your telephonecompanymaydiscontinueyourservicetemporarily.Ifpossible,theywillnotifyou in advance. If advance notice is not practical they will notify you as soon as possible. You will also be advised of your right to file a complaint with the FCC.
