How to properly install the InCar Cam 212 Lite dashcam?

Clean the windshield, remove the protective film from the suction cup, attach the mount by locking the lever. Insert the micro SD card (gold contacts facing the screen). Connect the power cable to the mount and then to the vehicle's 12-24V socket. The device turns on and records automatically.

Why doesn't the suction cup stick to the windshield?

Make sure you have removed the protective film from the suction cup, the surface is smooth and clean, and the locking lever is fully closed. Lightly moisten the suction cup to improve adhesion. Attach to a smooth area without paint texture.

How to format the micro SD card?

Press the MENU button twice to access the setup menu. Select "SD Card Formatting" and confirm. It is recommended to format every 2 to 3 weeks after backing up important files.

What to do if the battery only lasts 30 seconds?

Fully recharge the battery by connecting the device to power for about 90 minutes (the blue light turns off). If the problem persists, check the vehicle's power supply. The battery is designed for auto shut-off, not for prolonged use.

How to protect a video file from being deleted?

In video mode, press the file protection button (lock icon) during recording. In playback mode, select the file, press MENU, then choose "Protect file". Protected files will not be automatically deleted.

The video is choppy when playing on PC, why?

Use a good quality brand micro SD card, Class 10 (48 MB/s) or UHS-1. Reformat the card. Copy video files to your PC's hard drive rather than playing from the camera. Verify that your computer supports HD playback.

How to change the recording resolution?

In video mode, press MENU once. Select "Resolution" using the up/down buttons, then choose between 1080P, 720P, or 720P 60FPS. Confirm with OK. Recording must be stopped to access the menu.

What to do in case of SD card error?

Transfer important files to a computer, then format the SD card in the dashcam's setup menu. Use a recognized brand card, Class 10, between 8 and 128 GB. If the error persists, replace the card.

How to activate parking mode?

Press MENU twice to access the setup menu. Select "Parking Mode" and set to On. The camera goes into standby when the ignition is off and turns on upon motion detection, recording a 1-2 minute protected video.

Why can't I access the menus during recording?

Menus are locked during recording to avoid distractions. Stop recording by pressing the RECORD/OK button, then press MENU to access settings.
