How to format the SD card in the dashcam?

To format the SD card, press the MENU button twice to access the setup menu, select Format SD Card and follow the on-screen instructions. It is recommended to format every 2 to 3 weeks after transferring important files.

The battery only lasts a few minutes, is this normal?

Yes, the 450 mAh internal battery is designed to allow automatic shutdown on power loss and for short recordings (about 30 minutes). It is not intended to replace the car's power supply.

How to set the time and time zone on the dashcam?

The time is automatically set by GPS to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT). To adjust the time zone, go to the setup menu (MENU twice), choose Time Zone / DST and select your time zone (e.g., GMT+1 for France). You can also disable automatic timestamp.

Why are my videos blurry?

Make sure the lens protection cap has been removed and the lens is clean. Also check that the windshield is clean. If the problem persists, try adjusting the exposure in the video menu (from -2 to +2) or reformat the SD card.

How to connect the dashcam to my smartphone via Wi-Fi?

Ensure the dashcam is not recording, then press the Wi-Fi button (button 7) for 3 seconds. On your smartphone, enable Wi-Fi and connect to the dashcam's network (SSID and password appear on the screen). Open the Cam Viewer app (downloadable from Google Play or App Store) to view or download files.

How to protect a video file so it is not deleted?

During recording, press the Protect button (button 7) to protect the current file. In playback mode, you can also select the Protection option in the menu to protect or unlock files. Protected files are not automatically deleted.

Parking mode does not work properly, how to disable it?

To disable parking mode, stop recording, press MENU to access the video menu, select Parking Mode and set it to Off. If recording restarts without stopping, turn off the dashcam, remove the SD card, turn it back on, then disable parking mode in settings.

The suction cup does not stay stuck to the windshield, what should I do?

Remove the protective film from the suction cup, clean the windshield with a clean dry cloth, slightly dampen the suction cup, then attach it by pushing the locking lever upward. Ensure the surface is smooth and without tint.

What does the message 'Card Error' or 'Card Full' mean?

Card Error: the SD card has become unusable. Transfer important files to your computer then format the card in the dashcam (setup menu > Format SD Card). Card Full: the card is full of protected files. Delete unnecessary files or format the card after backup.

I cannot access the SD card via my computer, what should I do?

Connect the dashcam to the computer with the supplied USB cable (plug directly into the dashcam, not the mount). Turn on the dashcam and select Mass Storage on the screen. If nothing happens, try another USB port or another cable. The dashcam is read-only, you cannot copy files to it.
