How to adjust the refrigerator temperature?

Use the temperature control located at the top right of the refrigerator compartment. Numbers from 0 (off) to 7 (max cold) indicate the cold level. In summer, set between 2 and 4; in winter between 4 and 6. Position '3' is generally recommended.

What to do in case of a power outage?

Set the refrigerator to coldest 2 to 3 hours before the outage and make ice cubes. Avoid opening the doors. For a long outage, check for absence of water in the bottom and freezer drawer.

How to defrost the freezer?

Unplug the appliance, remove food. Let the ice melt (maximum 5 mm). Do not use sharp tools or hair dryers. Wipe the interior with a soft cloth.

Why is there condensation on the exterior sides?

It is normal in humid weather (rain). Clean with a dry cloth. This does not indicate a defect.

The refrigerator makes a running water sound, is it normal?

Yes, it is the sound of refrigerant flowing in the system. It is not a breakdown.

How to reverse the door opening direction?

Follow the instructions in the manual: remove the top cover, disassemble the hinges, reverse the parts, then reassemble. Make sure to keep the door cushioned upwards.

What to do if the refrigerator does not cool enough?

Check that the temperature control is not set to 0, that the door closes properly, that the seals are in good condition, that ventilation is sufficient (10 mm at rear, 200 mm on sides, 300 mm above), and that there are not too many foods.

How to clean the interior of the refrigerator?

Unplug the appliance. Use a soft cloth with warm water and a mild detergent. For stubborn stains, use a little alcohol. Do not spray water directly. Clean once a month.

Can I put bottles or cans in the freezer?

No, liquids in bottles or cans can explode under the pressure of expansion. Only put food suitable for freezing.

What to do if the interior light does not turn on?

Check the bulb (220-240V~, 15W). To change it, turn off the appliance, remove the lamp cover, replace the bulb, then put the cover back. If the problem persists, contact a technician.

THERMOSTAT

To control the temperature of freezer compartment and refrigerator compartment, is on the top-right of refrigerator compartment.

- Temperature knob

To adjust the temperature of refrigerator. Different figure shows different temperature. At the same room temperature, the bigger of the figure on the knob the lower relative temperature of the compartment, on the contrary, the smaller of the figure on the knob the higher relative temperature it has, "0" means stop working, the user may regulate the location of the knob to control the temperature of the fridge by need.

Note: Temperature knob should be turned "4"- "6" in winter; temperature knob should be turned to "2"- "4" in summer, if the refrigerator temperature still a little higher, you may turn to a larger figure point.

Usually it can be turned to "3".

When first using this refrigerator you must pay attention to the place of the knob.

·Lamp

Bulb parameter: 220V-240V\~, 15W

When change bulb:

1. Shut off the power.
2. Take out the lampshade, change the bulb, and then replace the lampshade.

REFRIGERATOR COMPARTMENT

The refrigerator compartment is for storing the food need no frozen. And difference compartment has difference temperature, the temperature on the top of vegetable drawer is the lowest one. So difference compartments suit for difference foods.

-Shelf in refrigerator

The shelves can be cleaned and adjusted, and also can place foods on them.

- Vegetable drawer

It is for storage vegetable.

·Door racks

Door racks are suitable to store eggs, bottles, canned foods etc, please lift the racks little when take out the foods.

High efficient antibiosis

Handles, shelves in refrigerator chamber, vegetable drawer, door gaskets, door racks, etc have been handled with antibiosis.

FREEZER COMPARTMENT

It is for freezing and storing frozen foods, or making ice cream etc.

Note: it is forbidden to store the glass or canned liquid foods, because the volume expands when the foods frozen, glass and can would crack.

·Ice tray

It is for making ice. Pour cool boiled water into ice tray up to 4/5 of its volume, place it in ice making chamber for 2 hours and the ice can be made automatically. When you want to take ice tubes, please twist the ice tray, and the ice tubes are separated from the ice tray. But do not bend it, otherwise it will crack.

Notes: Because it takes a long time to make ice tubes, you can not hold the ice tray directly when take out the ice cubes to avoid the ice tray sticking and hurting your hands.

- Drawer in freezer compartment

It is for freezing or storing foods. You must cut the big meat into small pieces to avoid hard

cutting when cook. The quick-freeze foods must be evenly placed in drawer, and put them

together to store after freezing.

HOW TO PLACE THE REFRIGERATOR

-Adjustable feet

The feet height can be adjusted to adapt the non level floor, feet

When the refrigerator is moved to a new place, turn the foot to make the refrigerator level.

- Power supply

The refrigerator is only suitable to single-phase alternating current of 220V - 240V, (50±1)Hz. If the fluctuation of voltage in your area is beyond the range of above mentioned, for the safety sake, please add an A.C automatic voltage regulator to the refrigerator. Uses an individual socket instead the refrigerator. Use an individual socket instead of a common one-share with other electric appliances.

- Power supply cord

Do not extend or fold the power cord, keep the power cord away from compressor, because the temperature of the compressor surface would rise when works, otherwise the insulation would be weakened and current leakage would occur.

- Protection from moisture

Do not locate the refrigerator in the moist place to avoid the metal parts rusty, and do not spray water on it, otherwise it will weaken the insulation and causes current leaka

- Keep away from heat

Please keep refrigerator away from heating sources and direct sunshine.

- Stable placing

Floor which refrigerator placed must be flat and solid, do not place the refrigerator in any soft material such as foam plastic etc. If the refrigerator is not stable, you can adjust the front feet to level your refrigerator, and do not place anything that make echo near the refrigerator.

- Keep away from dangerous material

Keep your refrigerator away from any volatile or combustible materials such as gas, petrol, alcohol, lacquer, and banana oil, etc. The above mentioned object should not be stored in refrigerator.

Note: it is forbidden to use the refrigerator outdoors.

-Moving

When fix or move the refrigerator, please do not decline more than 45^ .

·Good ventilation

For purpose of easy dissipation of heat, high efficiency of refrigeration and low power consumption, a space should be need around the refrigerator. We recommend to keep 200mm of space between the back of the appliance and the wall, 200mm between the side and wall and the space over the top is not less then 300mm. Enough space should be left to opening the door to 160°.

There are 2 distance keepers in the bag of the instruction manual, in order to get better cooling performance, we suggest you install these 2 parts to your refrigerator according to the following illustration:

Energy Saving Advice

• Do not install the appliance close to sources of heat, such as a cooker, dishwasher or radiator.
• Locate the appliance in a cool well ventilated room and make sure that air opening of the cabinet is not obstructed.
• Avoid unnecessary frosting in the cabinet by packing all foodstuffs in to airtight packages before placing them in the freezer.

• Food which is to be frozen (when cool) should be placed in the fridge before being transferred to the freezer.

• Thaw frozen food in the fridge, this will ensure safer defrosting of food and reduce the work of the refrigeration unit.

• Try to avoid keeping the food open for long periods, or opening the door too frequently as warm air will enter the cabinet, and cause the compressor to switch on unnecessarily offer.
• Ensure there are no obstructions preventing the door from closing properly.
• It is advisable to periodically clean the refrigeration system at the back of the appliance with a duster or vacuum cleaner.
  ● Hot foods should be cooled down to room temperature before storage; otherwise, it would affect their preservation and increase energy consumption.

REVERSING THE DOOR

This fridge can be opened either from the left or right side. If you want to open the door from the other side, please follow the instructions below.

2. Remove the screw cover(1), remove the screws(2) and the top cover(3) and upper hinge(5), remove the upper door(7).

3. Remove the mid-hinge(9) and the lower door(12), remember keep the padded surface of

the door upwards to prevent the scratching.

1. Remove the lower hinge(11), leg regulator(H)(16) that on the left side.
2. Remove the pin(15), and the leg regulator(12) of the lower hinge(11), and then transfer the pin /leg regulator to the opposite side of the lower hinge.
3. Insert the lower hinge(11) in the left lower side, fix the lower hinge on the cabinet, and fix the leg regulator(H)(16) in the right lower side.
4. Put the lower door on the lower hinge, keep the door level, then fix the mid-hinge, upper door and upper hinge on the cabinet.
5. Fix the top cover and screw cover.

NOTICE

- When power is off

1. When getting the power off notice, you should set the temperature more lower before 2-3 hours, and make the ice cube as much as possible and place in the refrigerator compartment
2. Do decrease the times of opening doors after power off.
3. If the power is off too long, before the power on, please check the freezer compartment bottom and the drawer bottom whether exist melted water or deposited water or not, if exist, must clean it with cloth to avoid food and ice frozen together.

- Defrost

1. The frost too thick in the freezer compartment will have an influence on the effect of the cooling performance, so, if the frost thickness more than 5mm, please defrost timely, before defrost pull out the plug firstly, then get out all the food from the refrigerator, open the door till all the frost and ice melted, then wipe off the water with smooth dry cloth.
2. The defrost in the refrigerator compartment is a automatic cycle by compressor on and off, no need to operate by man, the defrost water flow to the compressor base to evaporate through the drainage pipe behind the wall of the refrigerator compartment. The drainage pipe must be installed firmly to avoid the water drips to the compressor electrical box and the floor.

Notice: It is prohibited to use sharp tools to scrape the frost or use hot water or hair drier blow the cabinet wall directly to accelerate defrost, as to avoid to damage the cabinet wall.

HOW TO PLACE FOODS

Do not crow the refrigerator with too much food to avoid blocking the airflow and more energy consumption.
		Please use the sealed container and plastic preservative bag to prevent foods form being dried or mixed taste with different kinds of foods.
Please clean the foods, bottles and packed articles before storage.Sweep out the water if any.
		Hot foods should be cooled down to room temperature before storage, otherwise, they would affect their preservation and increase energy consumption.
Do not place the foods on the temperature sensor and the inner back wall of the refrigerator.
*Radish, banana, pumpkin, onion, and canned foods need not be stored in the refrigerator.

- Notes

1. This refrigerator can not store medical, inflammable and explosive articles.
2. It is inadvisable to let the refrigerator stop operation for a long time in normal condition, If you do so, please clean the refrigerator, open the doors and let it stood still for several days.
   Moreover please operate the refrigerator several times during stopping operation.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

-Cleaning method

1. Please wipe the refrigerator with a soft cloth, use warm water or neutral

detergent.

1. Then dry it with another cloth.
2. In case of especially dirty spots such as glue, oil, you may wipe them with alcohol.
3. It is advisable to clean your refrigerator once a month.

Notes: After clean the refrigerator, please check the following points:

1. Are the power supply cord and the plug broken?
2. Is the plug set properly?
3. Does the ground wire come off?
4. Is there a block on the drainage outlet?

- Electric parts

1. For the sake of safety, please pull the plug off before cleaning.
2. It for bidden to spray water to the refrigerator directly, otherwise it would weaken the

electrical insulation and cause the metal part rusty.

1. It is advisable to use the neutral detergent. The following materials may damage the lacquer coat and plastic surface:

basic detergent, toilet soap, abrasive power, hot water, banana oil, gasoline and alcohol.

TROUBLE SOLUTION

When there is something wrong with your refrigerator, please check the following points

before asking for repair.

-Stopping operation

1. The refrigerator is under the direct sunshine or near heating source.
2. The plug is not inserted correctly.
3. The fuse is broken.
4. The thermostat knob is at "0" position.

- Insufficient refrigeration

1. There are too much foods in the refrigerator and block the airflow.
2. The refrigerator doors do not close properly.

1. Refrigeration leakage occurs due to the door gasket broken or bends.

- Sound like water running

1. It is not sound of water running, but the sound of

refrigerant flowing, it is not a fault.

·Warm on the two and the top frame of the refrigerator

1. It is not malfunction, as there are condensers inside the two sides

and the top frame of refrigerator. They are warm when refrigerator works.

- Dew on two sides of the refrigerator

1. In moist season (like raining day) dew appears on two side of the refrigerator, as pour the cold water in the glass cup, the dew appears on the cup. This is not malfunction, you can wipe it with a dry cloth.

· Unusual noise

1. The refrigerator is not placed steadily.
2. The refrigerator touches the wall.
3. Drain-tray is falling off.
4. The outer refrigeration-tubes are touching each other or the refrigeration

tube are touching the cabinet.

- Operating for a long time

1. The ambient temperature is too high and temperature controller in freezer chamber or in refrigerator chamber is set at "7" position.
2. Too much food is placed in the refrigerator and insufficient spaces for air flow.
3. The door is not closed completely or the gasket is not sealing enough.
4. Open the door too frequently.

·Dew inside the cabinet

1. The ambient temperature is high and opens the door for a long time.

1. Liquid food is not covered before storage.
2. The temperature controller is set at "0" position.

- Notice

1. It is forbidden to disassemble any parts fixed by screw, and please ask the local repair center to repair your refrigerator.
2. It is forbidden to test any electrical parts in operation condition.

WARNINGS!!!

1. Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the build-structure, clear of obstruction.
2. Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
3. Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of the appliance, unless they are of the type recommended by manufacturer.
4. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
5. Be cautious not to cause fire when maintaining the refrigerator as the refrigerant and vesicant are burnable. Useless and old refrigerators should be recycled and disposed by professional companies.
6. Do not discard useless and old refrigerators at will in order to avoid environment pollution.
7. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
8. Do not damage the refrigerant circuit (applicable only for appliances with refrigeration circuits which are accessible to the user).
9. This appliance is not intended be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
