USER MANUAL CLR2970KCD Reflexion
The exclamation point within the triangle is a warning sign alerting the user of important instructions accompanying the product.
The lightening flash with arrowhead symbol within the triangle is a warning sign alerting the user of "dangerous voltage" inside the unit.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover. No user serviceable parts inside the unit. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
This unit employs a laser. Only a qualified service person should remove the cover or attempt to service this device, due to possible eye injury.
Invisible laser radiation when the unit is opened or interlocks defeated. Avoid exposure to laser beam. Use of controls, adjustments or procedures other than those specified herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure.
This unit operates on 230V 50Hz .If the unit is not used for a long period of time, remove the plug from the AC mains.
This unit must not be exposed to moisture or rain.
The power switch in this unit is mounted on the secondary circuit and does not disconnect the whole unit from the mains in OFF position.
Ensure all connections are properly made before operating the unit.
This unit should be positioned so that it is properly ventilated. Avoid placing it, for example, close to curtains, on the carpet or in a built-in installation such as a bookcase.
Do not expose this unit to direct sunlight or heat radiating sources.
Make sure all batteries are inserted according to the proper polarity. Do not mix old batteries with new ones.
If the unit is not used for a long period of time (more than 1 month), remove all batteries from their compartment to avoid possible leaking.

MOUNTING
- Choose a spot near an electrical outlet.
- Rotate the 4 mounting adapters to choose the apposite distance between the unit and the spot.
- Mark the mounting position, drill 4 holes x diam. 6 mm.
- Install the mounting adapter on the spot.
Note : Fixings used to mount this unit must be suitable for construction material.
POWERSUPPLY
This unit operates from a main supply of 230V 50Hz . Connect the AC power cord to the AC household main outlet. Ensure that the voltage is as indicated on the rating plate on the rear of the unit.
- mains plug is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable. always remember to disconnect the power cord from the main supply before disconnecting the lead from the unit.
- when connect to the main power, the initial state of the unit will display "0:00".
- reset both the correct time and the required alarm time for proper operation.
SETTINGTHECORRECTTIME
Time setting on the unit should be done in POWER OFF mode only.
Clock setting:
- press and hold the prog/c-adj button (15).
- at the same time press NEXT/FF/TUN+ (12) button or PREVIOUS/FB/TUN- button (16) separately to set the hour or min time.
Alarm setting:
- slide the function switch (AUTO-CD-TUNER-BUZZER) (19) to BUZZER position.
- press disp button (4) to choose al1 or al2 setting, LCD will display al1 or al2.
- the first time press disp (4) is al1 function, then set the alarm time, the operation is same as clock setting. after setting the alarm time press ALARM/ON/OFF button (5) to store the time.
- then set the alarm 2. the alarm2 setting is same as alarm 1. When the time is the same as the alarm 1 time, the buzz trump sounds. press the snooze button (8) to turn off the alarm 1 sound temporarily. This time will cancel the alarm 2 function if not press POWER/ALARM RESET button (1). After 9 minutes the alarm 1 sound again.
- If alarm 1 sounds press the snooze button (8) then continue press the POWER/ALARM set button (1) alarm 1 will not sounds after 9 minutes. But the alarm 2 will

sound when reach the alarm 2 time.
or when alarm 1 sound then PRESS POWER/ALARM RESET button directly, it will switch to alarm 2 fuction.
by keeping the NEXT/FF/TUN+ button (12) or PREVIOUS/FB/TUN- button (16) pressed, the time runs forwards or backwards at high speed.
Normal condition
Press POWER/ALARM RESET button (1) to turn on the LCD back light and switch to normal condition.
RADIO OPERATION
In normal condition, press TUNER button (11) to enter radio function.
press VOL+ (17)/VOL- (18) to turn UP/ DOWN the volume, "I up/ I dn" will be shown on the LCD.
repeat press STOP/BAND button (14) to select the station of FM/AM.
- press NEXT/FF/TUN+ button (12) or PREVIOUS/FB/TUN- button (16) to receive the frequency of the station.
Press NEXT/FF/TUN+ button (12) or PREVIOUS/FB/TUN- button (16) once, the change of FM frequency is 100Khz, and the change of am frequency is 9Khz. PressNEXT/FF/TUN+ button (12) or PREVIOUS/FB/TUN- button (16) for 2 seconds, it will switch to automatically search the station function.
Antenna
For FM reception there is a wire FM antenna at the rear of the unit. Extend the antenna and move it around to obtain the best reception.
For MW reception the signals are picked up through a wire antenna. Your may have to orient the wire to obtain the best reception.
In radio condition, press NEXT/FF/TUN+ button (12) or PREVIOUS/FB/TUN-button (16) to select the station which to be programmed.
- press PROG/C-ADJ button (15) to enter program function. LCD will display "MEMORY" and "P".
- press REPEAT/M-RECALL (9) button to select the required station number, then press PROG/C-ADJ (15) button to confirm the station number.
- repeat the above operations can program 30 stations. there are 15 programs in the FM/AM separately.
when turn on the radio, press REPEAT/M-RECALL button (9) you can repeat index the station which stored in the program.
CD PLAYBACK
In normal condition, press CD/PLAY/PAUSE button (13) the unit switch to cd condition.
when no disc inside "CD —" will be shown; put a disc inside but not reading, the display will show "cd e".
put a disc inside with a correct way, the total program will be shown after 5-12 seconds. press OPEN/CLOSE button (25) the disc will quit automatically.
CD/PLAY/PAUSEfunction
after show the total program no. press CD/PLAY/PAUSE (13) to play the disc. in playing condition, led will show the playing no.; then press this button again it will pause once, the pause position is in the playing position just now. And two points between cd and program no. are flashing.
- press CD/PLAY/PAUSE button (13) to cancel the pause function.
REPEAT/M-RECALLfunction

the first time press REPEAT/M-RECALL button (9) to repeat the playing program, LCD will show "REPEAT" and flashing.

the second time press REPEAT/M-RECALL button to re-play all on the disc (after the last track on the cd, the cd will repeat from the first song automatically.)
- the third time press REPEAT/M-RECALL button to cancel repeat function.
RANDOM function
- in stop condition, press RANDOM button (10) switch to random condition and LCD display "RANDOM".
in random condition, press NEXT/FF/TUN+ button (12) to index the random playing program.
- press STOP button (14) to cancel the random function, and it return to cd stop condition.
PROG/C-ADJ function.
in CD STOP cindition, press PROG/C-ADJ button (15), LCD will display "memory" and "cd 0".
next press NEXT/FF/TUN+ button (12) or PREVIOUS/FB/TUN- button (16) to select the program; press PROG/C-ADJ button (15) to store the selected program. Repeat the above operations can store up to 20 programs.
in cd program condition, press PROG/C-ADJ button switch to index the program no. condition; and press CD/PLAY/PAUSE button (13) will enter play the programs condition.
press STOP/BAND button (14) to cancel playing programed tracks condition.

NEXT/FF/TUN+ANDPREVIOUS/FB/TUN-function
in CD stop conditon, press NEXT/FF/TUN+ or PREVIOUS/FB/TUN- to cross the track, long press this button to index the track.
in play condition, fast press NEXT/FF/TUN+ or PREVIOUS/FB/TUN- can cross the track, long press this button can read the track forwards or backwards at high speed.
CD-BASS
While playing the cd, press CD-BASS button (6) to boost the bass and LCD will display "X-BASS"; press this button again to cancel the function.
WAKE TO RADIO
turn the desire radio station and VOLUME LEVEL. press POWER/ALARM RESET button (1) to switch to initial state.
setting the alarm time, slide the function switch (AUTO-CD-TUNER-BUZZER) (19) to TUNER position.
when reach the setting time radio will turn on automatically.
WAKE TO CD
in initial state, first set the alarm time, then slide the FUNCTION switch (AUTO-CD-TUNER-BUZZER) to cd condition.
when reach the setting time cd will turn on automatically.
SLEEP FUNCTION
start a cd or swith the radio on. Press the sleep button (7).
repeatedly press the sleep button until the display shows the time delay after which you want the cd radio alarm clock to switch off.
you can choose between 90, 80, 70, 60, 50 and 40, 30, 20, 10 minutes. LCD will display "SLEEP" and the time you chose.
the unit switches off automatically when the delay has elapsed. if you wish to switch the unit off before the time you set is reached, press the sleep button.
open the battery compartment and insert 1 new 3V CR 2025 CELL batterie.
repeat press POWER/ALARM RESET button to switch on or switch off the unit cyclic.
in cd or radio conditon, press VOL+VOL- button to turn up or turn down the volume.
when in radio condition, press CD/PLAY/PAUSE button to switch to cd condition, then press CD/PLAY/PAUSE button again to play the cd, the third time press this button to Pause play the cd.
in radio condition, press STOP/BAND button to switch to the station FM or AM; in cd condition, press this button to stop play the cd.
LIGHT ON/OFF
There is a light below this unit. when you want to turn on the light press light ON/OFF button (23), press light ON/OFF button again to turn off the light.
IMPORTANT
Since movement of the CD mechanism and the sensitive circuitry may cause interference to a radio tuner nearby switch this unit off while operating other radio devices.
This product utilizes a laser
