The juice extractor is an appliance used to quickly
extract juice from fruits and vegetables, separating
the pulp at the same time. The extracting speed has
been set to obtain optimal quality parameters of the
extracted juices. The juice contains small fractions of
fruits (vegetables) which are beneficial for the health,
but which can slightly reduce the juice clarity. Itis an
intended eect, the manufacturer of the juice extractor
came to the conclusion that it is more important to
retain the nutritional, health and dietetic value of the
extracted juice rather than its clarity. The amount of
the juice received from 1kg of the product depends on
the products’ freshness as well as on the cleanliness
of the sieve and the state of the grinding disc (e.g. for
fresh carrot) and equals 50-60%. The parts that have
contact with the processed products have been made
of food grade materials.
