How to turn the tablet on and off?

To turn on, press and hold the Power button (button 0) until the screen lights up. To turn off, press and hold the same button until the Options menu appears, then tap OK on the screen.

How to lock and unlock the screen?

Briefly press the Power button to turn off the screen (sleep). To unlock, press the button again, then drag the lock icon to the unlock icon on the screen.

How to connect to a Wi-Fi network?

Go to Settings > Wireless & networks > Wi-Fi and turn on Wi-Fi. The tablet searches for available networks. Select yours, enter the password if needed, then tap Connect.

How to connect the tablet to a computer?

Use the supplied USB cable. Connect it to the tablet and computer. Drag down the USB icon at the bottom of the screen, tap USB connected, then tap the button to activate USB storage to access files.

How to adjust the volume?

Use the VOL+/VOL- buttons on the side of the tablet. If a volume warning appears and you press Cancel, the volume cannot be increased until you first lower it.

What type of memory card to use?

The tablet is compatible with microSD/TF cards up to 32 GB. Insert the card into the slot provided (mark 8 on the diagram).

How to read e-books?

Install the included E-book reader application. Open it and load your files in ePub format (the supported format). You can download books from the Internet.

What to do if the screen is unresponsive?

Try to reset the tablet by inserting a paperclip into the R hole (mark 7). Press and hold for a few seconds. If that doesn't work, contact customer service.

How to maintain the battery?

Use only the supplied adapter (DC 5V 2A). Only replace the battery with an identical model, otherwise risk of explosion. Recycle used batteries at an approved center.

How to clean the tablet?

Turn off the tablet and unplug it. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth (no chemicals). Gently wipe the screen and case. Avoid liquid ingress.

1. TurnnontheWi-Firadioi f itisnotalreadyon.ToturnnonWi-Fi:

a. Gotothe Homescreen: Pressthe Homekey.

b.OpentheSettingsmenu:taptheiconrightuponthomescreenentogetinto the launcher,thentouchSettingsicon.

c.OpentheWireless&networksmenu:SlidetheicontoONstatus.

When Wi-Fi is on, the tablet will search and display a list of available Wi-Fi networks.

NOTE:Ifanetworkthatyouhaveconnectedtopreviouslyisfound,thetabletwill connecttoit.Ifyoudon'tseeyournetworkintheList,youcanforcethetablet to re-scan. To scan for networks, tap the Menu key, and then touch "SCAN".

1. SelectanavailableWi-Finetetworktoconnectto:

In the same Wi-Fi settings menu above, touch a network in the list.

Ifthenetworkisopen, the tabletwillpromptyoutoconfirmconnectiontothe network. TouchConnecttoconfirm.

Ifthenetworkissecured(asindicatedbyaLockicon),thetabletwillpromptyouto enterapasswordorothercredentials.TouchtheWirelesspasswordboxtoshowthe on-screen keyboard and then use it to enter the password. Touch "Connect" to confirm.

When the tablet has been connected to a Wi-Fi network, the Notifications bar at the thelelowofthescreenwillshowaWi-Fisignalindicator.
