How to pair my phone via Bluetooth with the Ices IBT3 speaker?

Turn on the speaker and press the MODE button to select Bluetooth mode (the display shows 'BT'). On your phone, search for 'ICES IBT-3' and pair. If a password is requested, enter '0000'. If the device was already paired, it reconnects automatically.

What to do if the speaker does not connect via Bluetooth?

Make sure the speaker is on in Bluetooth mode. Delete the device from your phone's Bluetooth list and reset the pairing by holding down the Play/Pause button for 10 seconds until a beep. Search for 'ICES IBT-3' again.

How to reset Bluetooth mode?

Hold down the Play/Pause button for about 10 seconds. The Bluetooth indicator flashes quickly, indicating a new pairing is possible. Then follow the standard pairing procedure.

Can I charge my phone via the speaker's USB port?

Yes, the USB port marked 'C.C. 5V 2.1A' (charge only) allows charging mobile devices. Simply plug in your charging cable. Note that this port does not play MP3 files.

How to listen to FM radio?

Extend the FM antenna, turn on the speaker, and press the MODE button or the FM button on the remote control to select radio mode. Use the Skip Forward/Back buttons to search for stations. To automatically memorize stations, press the Search button on the remote control.

How to play MP3 files from a USB drive or SD card?

Insert a USB drive (max 8 GB) or an SD/MMC card into the slot. Playback starts automatically. If not, press the MP3 button on the remote control. MP3 files are played directly.

The remote control does not work, what to do?

Check that the CR2025 battery is properly installed and not discharged. Point the remote control directly at the receiver on the front of the speaker. Replace the battery if necessary.

How to clean the speaker?

Always unplug the device before cleaning. Use a soft dry cloth to remove dust. Do not use wax, aerosol, or abrasive products. Avoid liquid entering the inside.

The sound is distorted or skipping, what to do?

Check the volume on the speaker and on your source device. Reduce the level if necessary. In Bluetooth, ensure the distance does not exceed 10 meters and that no significant obstacles are between the two devices.

How to attach the speaker's stand?

Remove the base and the speaker from the packaging. Align the holes of the base with those of the speaker, then screw using the provided screws and washers. Once attached, place the speaker upright.

If your remote becomes intermittent you find you have moved closer the unit to operate, then probably batteries need be replaced.

Toreplacebatteries,slidetheholderoutfromthebaseofth remote.Removethebatteryandreplacewitha3voltLithiu CR2025.

Aux-Inlineintype

Requiresa3.5mmcable(included)

1. Whenthe Towerispoweredon,press"STANDBY",thenenteringintothe AUXmodeautomatically.
2. Connecta3.5mmcabletotheAux-injackattherearConnecttheotherend ofthe3.5mmcabletoanMP3playerorotheraudiosource.
3. Use the controlsonthoppanel to begin playing a sound orated through the unitorpress "AUX" button on the remote.

UsingBluetooth

1.Powerontheunitandpress"MODE"buttonochangetobluethmodeor press"BT"buttonontheremote,theLEDdisplaywilldisplay"BT".
2. The previous paired device will connect to a wireless Bluetooth device automatically when each time changing toBluetooth mode.
3. Pressplay/pausebuttonandholdfor10seconds, afterabeeptone, the tower speaker is prepared to be paired again.
4. Search "ICES IBT-3" and pair it, input the password "0000" if necessary.
5.Ifitstilldoesn'twork,pleaseresettheBluetoothandfollowabovestepagain.

Notes:

1. WhentheBluetoothonthedisplayflashes, meanthespeaker is searching the previous spaired device.

2. Pressplay/pausebuttonandholdfor10seconds, the Bluetoothiconthe displaywillflashfast, whichmeanspeakerisreadyforbeingpaired.

3. After paired successfully, the Bluetooth onthedisplaywillbeon.
