USER MANUAL IBTS-6 Ices
1. Safety Instructions
- Before using this product, read and follow all warnings and instructions.
- This device is not intended for use by people (including children) with physical, sensory or mental disabilities, or a lack of experience and knowledge, unless they're under supervision or have received instructions about the correct use of the device by the person who is responsible for their safety;
- This product is intended for household use only and not for commercial or industrial use.
- Do not expose to dripping or splashing.
- No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on or near the product.
- Ventilation should not be impeded by covering ventilation openings with items such as newspapers, table cloths, curtains and the like.
- Make sure the unit is adjusted to a stable position. Damage caused by using this product in an unstable position or by failure to follow any other warning or precaution contained within this user manual will not be covered by warranty.
- Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases on or near the product.
- Do not use or store this product in a place where it is subject to direct sunlight, heat, excessive dust or vibration.
- Do not keep or store this product in wet conditions for a long period.
- Do not clean this product with water or other liquids.
- Do not block or cover the slots and holes in the product.
- Do not push foreign objects into the slots or holes in the product.
- Do not attempt to open this product yourself. There are no user serviceable parts inside.

2. The Speaker
2.1. Functionalities
- Bluetooth Version 2.1.
- Compatible B%UETOOT8 profile: A2DP, AVRCP, 8FP, 8SP.
- By connecting the speaker with a smartphone via B%UETOOT8, you can talk hands-free using the built-in microphone and speaker.
- You can enjoy up to 5 hours of continuous wireless music playback with the built-in lithium rechargeable battery.
- External input jack: AUX 6N.
- You can enjoy slow and fast R7B decoration light effect for little fun.
- Charging the speaker by connecting to a computer with the Micro-USB cable supplied.

3. Using the Speaker
3.1. Rechargeable Battery & Charging
This Bluetooth Speaker has an internal, non-user-replaceable battery. For the best results, the first time you use this Bluetooth Speaker, let it charge for about 2 \~ 3 hours, or until the red ⚙ MODE” indicator (7) light switches to off; this means the battery is fully charged.
To maintain the battery life and performance, you should recharge the battery if the speaker isn't used for a while. Charge the battery at least once every month.
To recharge the built-in battery:
- Connect the Bluetooth Speaker's "Micro USB Socket" (8) with the Computer's USB port through the USB cable (provided).
- The "MODE" Indicator (7) will show a red light, which means the battery is charging.
- The “MODE” Indicator (7) will turn automatically off when the battery is fully charged.
- Disconnect the USB cable when it is done with charging.
3.2. Power On/Off and Pairing
- Press and hold the “☐” (3) button to turn on the device; a series of tones will sound and the “MODE” Indicator (7) will rapidly flash blue in seconds from blinks. The speaker is in the Bluetooth pairing mode.
- Then activate the Bluetooth function on your mobile device (such as a Smartphone or Personal Computer); the device will enter to Bluetooth searching mode automatically. If this doesn't happen, tap the related selection to manually enter to searching mode. (refer to your device's manual if necessary).
- Your mobile device should show "ICES IBTS-6" in the Bluetooth Devices list, and then select it for pairing. Wait for some seconds and you will see the message that you are connected on your mobile
device. Note: For some Bluetooth devices, you may need to input "0000" as pairing password.
- If the pairing is successful, a beep sound will be heard and the MODE" Indicator (7) will switch to slow blinking blue instead of fast.
- At the same time, the RGB decoration lights will turn On automatically once Bluetooth is in paired mode.
- Now, you can start to play music from your mobile device by its music player program.
- To power OFF the speaker, press and hold the “ψ”(3) button.

- To save battery energy, the Bluetooth Speaker will turn to the off mode automatically when no device is paired in 8 minutes.
- The RGB decoration lights cannot be turned on when the speaker in Bluetooth at searching/pairing mode.
3.3. Disconnect from a Paired Device
- To disconnect with a paired device, preferably turn off the Bluetooth Speaker directly. Other options:
- You can choose "Disconnect" from your Bluetooth paired device list or turn "Off" the Bluetooth function on your mobile device.
- In this case the Bluetooth Speaker will switch back to "Searching/Pairing" mode automatically itself; a series of tones will sound and the "MODE" Indicator (7) will rapidly flash blue again instead of blinking slowly.
- Now, you can process for new mobile device pair or power Off the Bluetooth Speaker as you want (refer to part 3.2 above).
3.4. Auto Re-connect with a Paired Device and New Pairing
- Every time you turn On the Bluetooth speaker power, it will firstly search for the mobile device that was paired previously and which is still in record. The Bluetooth Speaker will re-connect this mobile device as priority if it is in Bluetooth searching device mode and connection range.
- If not found in some seconds, the Bluetooth Speaker then will turn into new pairing mode automatically.
- Now you can process for new mobile device pair (refer to part 3.2 above).
3.5. Switch to New Pairing from Connected Mode
- In Bluetooth connected mode, you can switch the Bluetooth Speaker into Bluetooth searching/pairing mode for pairing with the new device at any time you desire;
- Press and hold the “▶”(5) button until a series of tones sound, the “▶MODE” Indicator (7) will switch to rapidly flashing blue instead of blinking slowly.
- Now you can process for a new mobile device pair. (refer to part 3.2 above)
3.6. Bluetooth Music Playing Control Function
- In playing music, press the ⬆/⩽(5) button to pause the playing music. To resume press it again.
- Press and hold the “+”(8) button to increase the volume level.
- Press and hold the “+”(▲) button to decrease the volume level.
- When the maximum or minimum volume is reached, a beep sound will be heard.
- Press the “+”(8) button once to go to the next track.
- Press the “+”◀◀ button once to go to the previous track.
3.7. Hands-Free Function
- When there is an incoming call during Bluetooth music playing mode, the ringing sound will appear and the currently playing music will automatically be paused.
- Press the "▶(5)" button to pick up the call if you want.
- Now you are using the hands-free function with the Bluetooth speaker.
- Press the “▶” (5)” button again to hang up the call when it’s finished. The music that was being paused, will resume to play automatically.
- Press and hold the “▶/∠ (5)” button for 3 seconds to ignore the incoming call.
Tip: Speak to the “MIC” (10) hole directly with a distance between 30\~60cm to get the best speakerphone performance, if necessary.
3.8. Re-dial for Last Call Function
This function is to re-dial the last-called number with the Bluetooth Speaker, even when it is in music playing mode.
- Press the “▶/∠” (5) button twice to enter into the re-dialing function; the music that’s playing will automatically pause and switch to the hands-free function for redial.

Press the “▶/” (5) button again to finish the redialed call.

Make sure that your mobile phone has a ‘last called’ number in its record; if not, re-dialing the last-called number cannot be activated.
3.9. AUX-IN Function
- In the power ON mode, connect the Bluetooth Speaker's “AUX IN Jack” (9) with an external device's “Earphone/AUX/LINE” Output through the Audio Cable (Provided).
- The Bluetooth Speaker will switch to "AUX In" mode automatically from the Bluetooth mode, and the "MODE" Indicator (7) will switch to a long light instead of blinking.
- At the same time, the RGB decoration lights will turn on automatically once AUX In is in the connected mode.
- Now the AUX In function is ready, start to play music from your external device by its controls and/or program: for example Play, Stop, Volume Control etc.
- You also can use the controls on the Speaker itself:
- Press and hold the “+ (5)” button to increase the volume level.
- Press and hold the “+ (×)” button to decrease the volume level.
- When the maximum or minimum volume is reached, a beep sound will be heard.
- Disconnect the Audio cable when it is done.
3.10 R+B Decoration Lights Effect On and Off
- This device's design allows you to switch the RGB decoration lights effect On and Off in order to save the battery energy if you want it to. This option can extend the playing time for music.
- Press the “ψ”(3) button shortly to switch Off the RGB light.
- Press this button shortly again to switch on the RGB light.
- Furthermore, the RGB decoration lights will turn On again automatically each time you switch between the Bluetooth paired mode and the AUX in mode.
3.11 Low Power Reminder and Power Off
- In case the power of the Speaker is low, it will send tones every minute as a reminder. When you hear this sound, please connect the device with the USB power for charge if you still want to use the device.
- If you don't do this, the Bluetooth Speaker will power Off automatically within minutes.
- In this case, the device cannot be turned On, until you recharge the battery at least 10 \~ 15 minutes, because the rechargeable battery
doesn't have enough energy.
- Press and hold the “” (3) button to turn the device On after it’s charged with enough energy if you want.
3.12 Reset the Device
In some circumstances the device's functions may not function well and need to be reset. To reset the Bluetooth speaker:
Press the “/” (4) and the “/” (6) button at the same time; the device is reset and turns OFF. Then press and hold the “/” (3) button to turn On and restart the device after the reset is done.
