How to connect the speaker via Bluetooth?

Plug the power adapter into the speaker and a power outlet. Enable Bluetooth on your audio source (phone, tablet). Search for devices and select 'My Munet xxxxxx' (where xxxxxx is the WiFi MAC address). Enter the password '0000' if necessary. Only one Bluetooth connection is possible at a time.

How to connect the speaker via WiFi?

Place the speaker within range of your WiFi router. Plug in the adapter. On your audio source, connect to the temporary network 'My Munet xxxxxx' (no password). Open the configuration page (automatic on iOS, or enter http://192.168.1.1 on Android). Follow the instructions to connect the speaker to your WiFi network. Then download the Munet App to control the speaker.

What to do if the LED indicator blinks red?

A blinking red light indicates a connection problem or error. Check that the speaker is properly plugged in and that your WiFi network is working. If the light stays solid red, the speaker is in power off mode. See the 'LED Indicator' section of the manual for more details.

Can I connect multiple Munet speakers together?

Yes, up to 14 Munet speakers can be connected wirelessly via WiFi and controlled by the Munet App. Each speaker must be added to the WiFi network by following the WiFi connection setup procedure.

How to reset the speaker?

The manual does not mention a specific reset procedure. In case of problem, unplug the power adapter for a few seconds and plug it back in. If the problem persists, contact customer service.

What is the Bluetooth range?

The Bluetooth range is about 10 meters in open space. Walls and other structures may reduce this range.

Can I use the speaker without the Munet App?

Yes, you can use the speaker in wired (AUX) or Bluetooth mode without installing the app. The app is required for multiroom features and WiFi setup.

What to do if the speaker does not turn on?

Check that the power adapter is properly connected to the speaker and to a working power outlet. Try another outlet. If the light does not come on, the adapter or speaker may be defective. Contact the retailer.

How to update the speaker's software?

The update is done via the Munet App. During the update, the LED blinks alternately blue, purple, red, purple. Do not cut the internet connection or power for at least 10 minutes.

How to clean the speaker?

Unplug the adapter before cleaning. Use a dry, soft cloth. Do not immerse any parts in water and do not use chemical products. Avoid touching the connectors.

This MUNET SMART speaker features WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. Under ideal setup conditions, up to 14 MUNET speakers can be managed wirelessly via a single iOS/Android App:

Indicator light

• During setup and normal operation, the MUNET's indicator light provides information on connection statuses.

LED colour What it means

Red (Flashing) MUNET is starting up.

Red (Flashing MUNET is experiencing connection problems. quickly) Error found.

Red (Steady on) MUNET is in off mode.

Blue (Flashing) MUNET is connecting to a wireless network.

Connection modes

• The MUNET can easily be connected to an external audio source by 3 different ways. With wired or Bluetooth connection, MUNET can act as audio source. Under ideal setup conditions, among them a suitable WiFi connection, up to 14 MUNET speakers can stream your music, everywhere throughout your house.

Wired connection

1. Connect the supplied adaptor to the power inlet. Connect the adaptor to a suitable wall outlet.
2. Connect the supplied audio cable to the AUX IN socket and to an external audio source (e.g. mobile phone).
3. Start playing music from the audio source.

Note:

No installation of the Munet App required.

Bluetooth connection

1. Connect the supplied adaptor to the power inlet. Connect the adaptor to a suitable wall outlet.
2. Activate Bluetooth on audio source (e.g. mobile phone). Browse for devices and select "My Munet xxxxxx *".
3. Establish connection. If necessary, enter password 0000.
4. If necessary, select "My Munet xxxxxx *" as audio output device.

Notes:

No installation of the Munet App required.
Only one Bluetooth connection is possible at a time.
- In order to connect another audio source with Bluetooth, the previous connected device must be disconnected.

• For “xxxxxx” use the WiFi Mac address of the individual speaker.

WiFi connection

Preparation

1. Place the MUNET speaker in range of your WiFi router.
2. Connect the supplied adaptor to the power inlet. Connect the adaptor to a suitable wall outlet.
3. Activate WiFi on audio source (e.g. mobile phone).
4. Open the list of available WiFi networks on your audio source.

WiFi connection

Establishing the WiFi connection

1. Open the WiFi connection on your audio source (e.g. mobile or tablet).
2. Connect to your designated MUNET device.
3. Join the temporary WiFi Network "My Munet xxxxxx *". No password is required.

4a. For iOS devices: The network setup page will open up automatically:
4b. For Android devices: Enter the following address into your web browser: http://192.168.1.1. The network setup page will open up:

1. Your MUNET is now paired with the WiFi network.
2. Download the MUNET App from the Apple App Store (iOS) or from Google Play (Android) to control the speaker.

Repeat above steps 1 to 5 under Establishing the WiFi connection.

17. Connect the power adaptor to an easily reachable electrical outlet so that in case of an emergency the appliance can be unplugged immediately. Pull the power adaptor out of the electrical outlet to completely switch off the appliance. Use the power adaptor as the disconnection device.

18. Disconnect the power adaptor from the electrical outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
19. Only use this appliance with the supplied power adaptor.
20. Lay the cables in such a way that nobody can inadvertently pull them or trip over them.
21. The appliance is powered when connected to the power adaptor.
22. Attention! In the event of a malfunction as a result of electrostatic discharge and momentary electrical surges, unplug the appliance and plug it in again.
23. Make sure that no electrical wires, water, gas or other lines are located around the installation location.
