CONDITIONS DE GARANTIE

This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures which are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. The warranty will not be valid when the damage to the appliance is caused by wrong use, not following the instructions or repairs executed by a third party. The warranty will only be valid if the warranty application has been completed by the dealer at the time of purchase. All parts, which are subject to wear, are excluded from the warranty.

This symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product may not be treated as household waste. Instead it shall be brought to the applicable collection point for recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health, which could otherwise be caused by inappropriate waste handling of this product. For more detailed information about recycling of this product, please contact your local city office, your household waste disposal service or the shop where you purchased the product.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by manufacturer of its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

This appliance is only for household use or environments of a similar character such as:

• kitchens that are used by personnel of shops, office or other similar professional environments.
  Farms
• Hotel rooms and motel rooms and other similar environments with a residential character.
  Bed and breakfast or similar.

Attention : this appliance may not be used with an external timer or separate remote control.

This devise is not for use by persons, including children, with any kind of impairment, such as, physical, sensorial or mental incapacity. These persons are also not permitted to use the devise if they have limited experience or insufficient knowledge, unless they have received the necessary instructions for use or are otherwise being supervised by people ensuring their safety. Make sure that children cannot play with the device.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

• Carefully read the instruction manual before use.
• Never immerse the motor unit, the power cord or the plug in water or other liquid.
• Remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is not in use, or when you are removing or cleaning components.
• Only suitable for indoor, household use.
• Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of the table or to come in contact with hot surfaces, such as heaters, etc.
• Check that the voltage in your house matches the voltage indicated on the appliance.
• Do not put the plug in the socket if the unit is not fully assembled.
• Never use two accessories with different functions (blender attachment and whipping attachment) at the same time.
• The blades on the underside of the blender attachments are razor sharp, be careful during blending and cleaning. Incorrect use could lead to injuries.
• Use the appliance in short bursts. Never use the whipping or kneading attachments for longer than 1 minute uninterrupted at full power. Allow the appliance to cool off briefly after this.
• Never use the blending attachments in boiling liquids. Allow soup to cool for a while before blending it.

USE

Clean the appliance thoroughly before using it for the first time. Pay particular attention to the parts which come in contact with food.

WHIPPING AND KNEADING ATTACHMENTS

• Insert the whipping or kneading attachments into the main body of the appliance

until they click into place. Always insert the accessory fitted with a toothed crown in the appropriate opening in the appliance.

• Insert the plug in the socket.
  Depending on the quantity, place the ingredients in a sufficiently large bowl, jar or measuring jug.

• Immerse the whipping or kneading attachments in the bowl and switch

the appliance on by switching the speed adjustment to the appropriate position (see table) 1-4.

• The turbo button (C) provides full power immediately.
  After use, switch the appliance back to the '0' position.
• Remove the plug from the socket.

• Eject the whipping or kneading attachments by pushing the eject button.

BLENDER ATTACHMENT

• Set the speed adjustment to '0'. Open the cover at the back of the appliance.
• Insert the blender attachment into the main body by rotating it until it locks in place.
• Do not fill the mixing bowl, jar or jug to more than two-thirds of its capacity, to avoid food spillage.
• The ideal bowl size is 18cm in height, with a diameter of approximately 11cm .

• Turn the speed adjustment fully to the left, until it points to the blender attachment icon, then press the turbo button.
• To ensure good blending, the head of the blender attachment must be completely covered.
• To prevent spillage, do not immerse the blender attachment in a liquid if it is already revolving.
• Never use the blender attachment on hard food items, such as ice cubes, coffee beans, sugar cubes, cereals or chocolate.
• The hand mixer detects the inserted blender attachment automatically.
• Set the speed adjustment to '0' before removing the blender attachment.

CLEANING

Remove the plug from the socket.

Clean the main body with a damp cloth. Never immerse in water or other liquid!

Clean the whipping, kneading and blender attachments immediately after use. Rinse and dry them carefully.
