SAFETY REGULATIONS - Read the operating instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place. If the appliance is passed to another user, also pass on the instructions. - This appliance is intended for trimming body hair in the nose and ears, sideburns and hair in the nape of the neck. - Make sure the batteries are always inserted with the correct polarity. - Do not immerse the appliance in water or in any other liquid. - Never use a defective appliance. - Danger for small children. - Keep the batteries away from small children so that they cannot swallow them. - Keep the transport packaging away from children, danger for suffocation. - Danger of injury due to cutting parts on the cutting head. - Have repairs carried out solely by a specialist dealer or by the service centre of the manufacturer. - Do not use on open wounds or blisters. - Keep the appliance away from your hair and eyes. - After use, store the nose/ear hair trimmer in a safe place well away from the reach of children. The nose/ear trimmer can only be operated with a 1,5V alkaline battery of type LR6. INSERTING BATTERY To insert or change the battery hold the appliance with the cutting heat downwards. The bottom of the housing can then be removed by turning anticlockwise. Insert the enclosed battery. Make sure that you have rst removed the protective lm from the battery. Make sure that polarity is correct. Replace the housing bottom and turn it clockwise until it will turn no further. When using the appliance, always use a mirror. Clean the trimmer after use as described in the instruction booklet.

SWITCHIN THE TRIMMER ON AND OFF

Before use, pull off the protective cap, press the on/off switch and slide it upwards to switch the appliance on or slide it downwards to switch it off again.

USING THE CUTTER ATTACHEMENT

Remove the protective cap of the cutter attachment, turn the unit on the blade rotates and you can start trimming the small hairs in the nose and ear. The integrated light is useful aid here.

USING THE CONTOUR ATTACHEMENT

Switch off the appliance. Remove the cutter attachment for the nose/ear-hair trimmer from the appliance by turning it anticlockwise. The contour attachment is put on the housing by turning in clockwise direction whilst simultaneously applying pressure. Draw the contour attachment along the skin at a at angle from the top downwards without pressure. Attention: Do not push the appliance from below upwards and do not draw it sideways. This could cause injury. Caution: When cleaning the appliance, make sure that the battery compartment/ appliance bottom is rmly closed. Do not immerse the appliance in water or in any other liquid.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

Hold the switched-off appliance with the cutting head upwards. To clean the cutter attachment, remove the cutting head upwards by turning it anticlockwise and rinse it 16DO7032 thoroughly under running water. Once it is completely dry, replace it by turning it in the clockwise direction. Clean the contour attachment in the same way. Then replace the protective cap. Clean the appliance itself only with a dry cloth. You can clean the contour attachment with the cleaning brush included in the supplied items. Take out the battery if you are not using the appliance for a month or longer. This protects your appliance from damage if the battery should leak.
