How to connect the ILS Command to DMX fixtures?

Use the 3-pin XLR connection for wired DMX or the D-Fi wireless connection. Ensure the fixtures are compatible with Chauvet's ILS protocol.

How to use follow spot mode?

Press the FOLLOW SPOT button. Use the X and Y encoders to program positions, colors, and gobos. Press and hold to end programming.

How to save a preset?

Press and hold one of the PRESET 1-6 buttons. Use the X encoder to name the preset and assign a color. Release to save.

What to do if the device does not turn on?

Check the external power supply and the USB-C cable. Ensure the outlet is powered. If the problem persists, contact technical support.

How to lock the screen to prevent accidental changes?

Press and hold the X (or Y) encoder for 3 seconds to lock/unlock the control panel.

Can I use the ILS Command wirelessly?

Yes, via D-Fi technology. Ensure compatible ILS fixtures are within range (minimum 20 cm distance from user for RF compliance).

How to adjust strobe speed?

Use the STROBE SPEED fader to adjust speed. Press MASTER STROBE to trigger the effect on all fixtures.

What types of fixtures are supported?

The ILS Command controls moving heads, pars, lasers, strobes, derbies/kintas, and LED effects with dedicated buttons (MOVING HEAD, PAR, etc.).

How to update the firmware?

The update procedure is not described in this manual. Check Chauvet's website for possible updates.

What is the minimum safety distance around the device?

ALWAYS:

Connect to a grounded circuit.
Connect to operating voltages as specified on the product's spec sticker.
