SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Read the instructions in this manual carefully as they provide important safety information regarding installation, use and maintenance. CAREFULLY STORE THIS MANUAL FOR FUTURE USE.
• Remove the packaging and make sure that the appliance is not damaged. When in doubt, do not use the product and contact your dealer.
• Do not turn on the air conditioner if it is damaged or defective.
• Do not turn on the air conditioner until you have fully assembled all the parts.
• Do not let your children play with the packaging items (such as plastic bags).
• Before connecting the product, make sure that the data on the identifying plate (grey sticker on the appliance) corresponds to

that of your domestic electrical network.

• Only use the air conditioner in the conditions described in this manual. Any other use is not recommended and may result in fire, injury or electrocution.
• Before handling or moving the product, be sure that it is unplugged.
• Take the plug and remove it to disconnect it from the power supply. DO NOT PULL ON THE CORD
• Do not insert objects of any kind into the grilles while the appliance is running, THIS COULD CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY.
• The operation of any electrical appliance must be monitored continuously in the presence of children. This appliance is not a toy.
• Do not use the appliance in hu

mid areas, in areas where the temperature exceeds 40^ or in dusty areas.

• Do not allow a baby or an unwell person to be exposed to the front of the appliance for a long period of time without interruption.
• Make sure the location of the appliance is stable.
• This appliance is intended for household use only. Any maintenance, other than cleaning or routine maintenance performed by the user, must be done by a qualified electrician.
• The use of any electrical appliance involves observing some basic rules: DO NOT TOUCH THE APPLIANCE WITH DAMP OR WET HANDS OR FEET -DO NOT USE THE APPLIANCE OUTSIDE -DO NOT PULL ON THE POWER CABLE OR THE APPLIANCE ITSELF TO DISCONNECT THE PLUG FROM THE POWER SOCKET.
• Do not use the appliance in the immediate vicinity of bathtubs, washbasins, showers, swimming pools, etc.

• The use of this appliance in volumes 0, 1 or 2 of a bathroom (the wet areas and their surrounds) is strictly prohibited.

• Do not immerse the appliance in water

• To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not disassemble the appliance.
• There is no reason to open this appliance to find anything that you believe maybe useful because it does not contain anything like that.
• Only authorised personnel may perform the repair work.
• This appliance may be used by children 8 years of age or older and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities, or lack of experience or knowledge, if they are properly supervised or given instructions on the safe use of the appliance and the risks involved have been addressed. Children should not play with this appliance. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
• This appliance is strictly reserved for domestic use.

If the power cable is damaged, it must be changed by the manufacturer, its maintenance department or a similarly qualified person to avoid a potential hazardous situation.

This fan is delivered already assembled. No assembly is necessary.

THE REMOTE CONTROL

When not in use, the remote control can be placed on its support located at the top of the fan. It is magnetised and can hold the remote when the fan is moved.

The remote control is supplied with its battery.

This remote control uses a CR2025 battery. Do not use other types of batteries. Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.

Warning: battery terminals must not be short-circuited.

When replacing the battery, ensure that the battery is installed correctly, respecting polarity.

In case of prolonged non-use, remove battery from remote control.

To replace the battery:

1. Remove the compartment cover by turning it counterclockwise.
2. Replace the old battery with a new one of the same type. Respect the polarities: the + must be visible after insertion into the compartment.
3. Replace the compartment cover by turning it clockwise.

Do not dispose of used batteries in your household rubbish bin. Discard them in a suitable place for recycling batteries. Keep batteries away from children. Do not dispose of batteries in fire. In case of leakage and contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly and seek immediate medical attention.

For better operation of the remote control, it is recommended to point it towards the receiver placed above the LED screen.

NOTE: To avoid any risk of interference, it is best not to use the fan near other devices using a remote control.

Place the fan on a flat, stable surface. Ensure that the air inlets and outlets are not obstructed. No object should be placed less than 30~cm from the front of the fan. Curtains and other kinds of netting and screens must be located more than 30~cm away from the appliance.

Start-up, oscillation and shutdown can be done from the fan or from the remote control. Other commands are accessible by remote control only.

With each command (fan or remote control), a beep sounds.

Insert the power plug into a wall outlet. A beep is heard and a turning point on the LED display indicates that the unit is in standby.

Fan controls:

press the LED screen to turn on the fan. The fan starts at speed 3 and the number 3 is present on the LED screen. Press the LED screen again successively to vary the speed cyclically between 1 and 9.

To put the device in standby, press and hold the LED screen for about 2 seconds: a beep sounds; release the screen; the fan stops.

To start the oscillation, press the LED screen for about 1 second: the oscillation starts.

To stop the oscillation, press the LED screen again for about 1 second: a beep sounds; release the screen; the oscillation stops.

Remote control:

Key	Function	Display
	Press this button to turn the fan on or set it to standby.	On power up the number 3 is displayed on the screen to indicate that the device is in speed 3. 0 is displayed on the screen when the fan is in standby.
	Press this button to activate the timer. Each press of the button represents 1 additional hour (maximum 8 hours). The unit will automatically stop when the selected time has elapsed.	At the first press, the number 1 and a flashing dot appear on the screen. With each new press the time displayed on the screen is increased by one hour. To deactivate the timer, press the «Standby» button to stop the device, or press the «Timer» key repeatedly until the display shows 0. After about one second, the selected speed is displayed again.
	Press this button to select the "Night" operating mode. In this mode, fan speed "1" is automatically selected.	The letter «L» is displayed on the LED screen.
	Press this button to select the highest speed (This speed is greater than 9).	The letter «H» is displayed on the LED screen.
	Press this button to turn the fan horizontally. Press again to stop the turn.

IMPORTANT :

When the unit is idle, its power is not completely off. When the unit is no longer used, it is recommended to disconnect it from the wall outlet.

• The appliance must be cleaned and checked regularly. No disassembly is necessary.
  BEFORE SERVICING, ALWAYS UNPLUG THE POWER CORD!
• Take care that water or other liquids do not come in contact with the motor or any other electrical parts during cleaning.
• Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean your fan, and then dry it.
• Do not use THINNERS, ALCOHOL or OTHER CHEMICALS.
• The air inlets and outlets must be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner or a soft brush.
• For storage in case of prolonged non-use, ensure that the storage room is clean and not humid. Protect the appliance from dust to ensure longevity

This appliance is guaranteed for 2 years, including parts and labour. The guarantee does not cover the damage caused by: incorrect usage, deterioration by shock, fall or atmospheric phenomenon. In case of malfunction, the product in its entirety (packaging, product, accessories) must be returned by the user (In postage paid if sent by mail. 'Postage due' packages will not be accepted.) At the point of sale where the product sold, accompanied by a photocopy of the dated proof of purchase bearing the vendor's stamp. The appliance will be returned to you free of charge during the warranty period and upon reimbursement of costs after this period.
