Product overview

• Unpack the product. Remove all the labels from the product. Check that it is complete and in a good condition. If the unit is damaged or faulty, do not use it and take it to your retailer or after-sales service centre.
• Keep all packaging out of the reach of children. There is a risk of accidents if children play with packaging materials.

This unit has been designed to straighten hair.
Any other use may damage the unit or cause injury.

Use

WARNING!

When plugged in and used for the first time, the unit may temporarily produce a faint odour. This normal occurrence does not pose any risk to the user or indicate that the unit is faulty.

When using the unit for the first time, leave it switched on until the smoke has cleared. This should take approx. 1 minute.

Note : For best results, your hair should be clean, relatively dry and free from any hairspray or cream.

Unlock the unit by pressing the ceramic plate-locking device.
Plug the unit into an electrical socket.
3 Power on: press and hold ① for 1 second.
Press + / - to adjust the temperature.

• The LCD screen will turn on.
• The screen will continue to flash until the set temperature is reached.
• The default temperature setting is set at 180^ .
• The unit will be ready for use after 1 minute.

To activate the lock function:

• Press and hold (-) for 1 second.
• All the buttons are locked.
• Press and hold (-) again for 1 second to unlock the buttons.

Fine, porous, dyed, bleached	120°C - 140°C
Normal (for straighteners)	160°C - 180°C
Professional hairdressing	180°C - 220°C

B Product usage

5 Separate a section of hair - approx. 5 cm wide - then smooth it with a brush.
Position the chosen section between the plates and the straightener, then close the plates. Do not touch the hot plates.
Glide the straightener down the hair from the roots to the tips for 5 seconds. Continuously move the straightener at all times to prevent it from burning the hair.

• Leave the section to cool for approx. 20 seconds, then repeat this step until the desired hairstyle is obtained.
• Do not comb or brush your hair before it cools.

WARNING!

Do not straighten the same section of hair more than once when the unit is set to the maximum temperature.

8 Shutdown: press ① until the LCD screen turns off.

Auto shut-off: the unit will switch off automatically after approx. 1 hour. Unplug the power plug from the mains socket.

Cleaning and maintenance

WARNING

• Before cleaning or maintaining the unit, make sure that it has been switched off and unplugged from the mains socket. Then let it cool completely.

• Never immerse the unit in water or any other liquid.

• Clean the unit with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
  Make sure that no moisture gets inside the unit while cleaning it.

• Never use corrosive cleaners, wire brushes, abrasive scouring pads, metal or sharp tools to clean your unit.
• Thoroughly dry the unit after cleaning it.

Storage

• Always unplug the unit before storing it.
• Store the unit in a fresh, dry and dust-free place, out of the reach of children and pets.
• Please retain the packaging and use it to store your unit when it is not in use for an extended period of time.
