Product usage Before first use + Clean the unit (> Cleaning and maintenance). + Perform a few dry runs until the unit no longer emits any odour or smoke. When the toaster is in use, make sure the room is properly ventilated. + Due to the manufacturing process, the unit may emit a faint burning smell when first turned on. Removing jammed toast CAUTION Should toast get stuck in the unit, press the cancel button and then unplug the power plug from the mains socket. Wait until the unit has cooled down completely. Carefully remove the toast, taking care not to damage the heating elements.
