Remove all the labels from the unit. Check that it is complete and in a good condition. If the unit is damaged or faulty, do not use it and take it to your retailer or after-sales service centre. + Keep all packaging out of the reach of children. There is a risk of accidents if children play with packaging materials. Intended use This unit is intended for household use only. It is not suitable for commercial or industrial use. Product usage Before first use + Before first use, set up the unit and turn the Temperature control knob to the highest setting for 5 minutes (> Use). This will burn off the “new” smell. Do not rinse them under the tap. e Clean the unit after each use to prevent grease and food residue from accumulating. e Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents, wire brushes, sharp objects or scouring pads to clean the unit. + Probe connector: Unplug the probe connector from the grill/ griddle plate before cleaning @. If necessary, wipe the probe connector with a moist cloth and dry completely with a dry cloth. Do not allow any liquid to enter the probe connector. e Grill/Griddle plate, probe socket: - Remove the grill/griddle plate from the bamboo base before cleaning. - lfnecessary, wipe the probe socket with a slightly moist cloth and dry it completely with a dry cloth.
