Can I cut the LED strip anywhere?

No, you must cut only at sections marked with a scissor logo, which appears between each group of 3 LEDs. Cutting elsewhere will damage the strip and void the warranty.

Is the LED strip waterproof?

The strip itself is rated IP44, so it is splash-proof, but it cannot be submerged. The mains adapter is IP20 and must not come into contact with water.

How do I install the LED strip?

Clean and degrease the surface, remove the protective film from the 3M adhesive, then stick the strip. Connect it to the IR control box respecting polarity, then plug in the mains adapter. Use the remote to turn on.

The remote does not work, what should I do?

Make sure the batteries in the remote are installed and working. Check that the IR control box is powered and the receiver is not obstructed. Point the remote at the box.

Can I use this LED strip outdoors?

No, this product is intended for indoor use only. Even though the strip is IP44, the adapter is not.

What lighting modes are available?

The remote allows you to choose a fixed color from several, adjust brightness (16 levels), and offers automatic modes: sequence of 3 or 7 colors by jump or fade, and sound modes (rhythm, soft, DJ) that sync colors with music.

Can I replace a defective LED?

No, the light source is not replaceable. At end of life, the entire strip must be replaced.

What is the power consumption?

The maximum consumption is 18 W for the 3-meter version, at a voltage of 12 V and a current of 1.5 A.

Is the LED strip compatible with a dimmer?

No, this LED strip is not dimmable. You cannot use a standard dimmer.

What if the adhesive does not hold?

Make sure the surface is perfectly clean, dry, and degreased. Apply firm pressure. If the problem persists, you can use additional double-sided adhesive suitable for the surface.

About IP44 waterproof resistance

The light strip is resistant to water splashes with IP44 standard. It cannot be submerged in water. The AC power adapter is classified IP20, it cannot be in contact at all with water or other liquids. This product is for interior use only.

Installation procedure

• The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable. When the light source reaches its end of life, the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
• To reduce the risk of strangulation, the flexible wiring connected to this luminaire shall be effectively fixed to the wall if the wiring is within arm's reach.
• Do not connect the light strip to the supply while it is in the packing.

Please follow the below steps to install your light strip properly.

1. Select a clean and flat surface for the installation of the strip. Make sure the surface is perfectly clean. It must be free of any dirt, dust or grease, otherwise the tape may come off after some time.
2. Remove the 3M protection paper band from the strip and stick the strip carefully on the flat surface.
3. If necessary, cut the part of the strip you may not need. Attention, cut the strip only on specific sections marked by a scissor logo on the strip. Such logo will appear between each series of 3 LED. Never cut the strip on any other location otherwise the strip will be unusable and the warranty will be void. See below the correct location to cut the strip.

1. Connect carefully the LED strip to the infrared (IR) controller box by respecting the polarity and then connect the IR controller box to the power adaptor.
2. Connect the power adaptor to a power source of your house (wall socket).
3. Press the ON button on the remote controller to power ON the light strip.
