Safety instructions

• Please read the instructions carefully before using the unit and keep them for future reference. If you pass this unit to another person, make sure to include this manual.
• This unit may be used by children aged 8 years and above, persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, and persons with no experience of using or knowledge of the unit, provided they are properly supervised or receive prior instruction regarding how to safely use the unit and understand the risks involved.
• Children should not play with the unit.
• User cleaning and maintenance operations must not be performed by unsupervised children.
• Please follow all the safety instructions to prevent any improper use-related damage! Please follow all the warnings on the unit.
• DANGER! Ingestion and choking hazard! The packaging materials are not toys. Children should not play with the packaging materials.
• WARNING! Risk of damage to the product! Do not overload the unit. Maximum load: 130 kg.
• WARNING! Risk of damage to the product! Do not immerse any part of the product in water or any other liquid. Never expose the product to running water. Under no circumstances should the unit's housing be opened. Do not insert any foreign objects into the unit's housing.
• Only use the scales on level and solid surfaces.
• This product is not a toy. Children should not play with the product.
• Handle the scales with care as they are a precision instrument.
• Store the scales in a dry, clean place. Dust, dirt and moisture are likely to accumulate in the weighing mechanism and create friction.

Disposing of your old device

• Unpack the product. Remove all the labels from the product. Check that it is complete and in a good condition. If the unit is damaged or faulty, do not use it and take it to your retailer or after-sales service centre.
• Keep all packaging out of the reach of children. There is a risk of accidents if children play with packaging materials.

• These scales have been designed to weigh people weighing up to 130kg . Do not use it for any other purpose.
  Any other use may damage the unit or cause injury.

Before first use

• Carefully remove all packaging materials and keep them for future use.
• Check the condition of the product for possible transport-associated damage.
• Use a damp cloth and, if necessary, a mild detergent to clean the surface of the scales. Dry them afterwards ( Cleaning and maintenance).

Adjustment wheel

Use the adjustment wheel to move the needle until it points to 0 on the dial.

Weighing

• Place the scales on a flat, hard surface, and make sure that there are no foreign objects under the scales.
• To weigh yourself, gently place your feet on the scales and stand still during the weighing process.

CAUTION

• The maximum load of these scales is 130kg . In the event of an overload, immediately get off the scales to avoid damaging them.
• The weighing platform must be dry in order to avoid any slips.

Cleaning and maintenance

• Wipe the scales with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in water.
• Never use petrol, solvents, abrasive products, metal objects or hard brushes to clean the unit.

Storage

• Store the unit in a fresh, dry and dust-free place, out of the reach of children and pets.
• Please retain the packaging and use it to store your unit when it is not in use for an extended period of time.
