How to connect the DDJ-FLX2 to a smartphone via Bluetooth?

Connect a USB power adapter to the USB port of the device to power it. Launch rekordbox or djay, turn the screen to landscape mode, tap the connection icon at the top, then select DDJ-FLX2 from the Bluetooth list.

Why is there no sound from the headphone jack?

Check that the headphones are plugged into the PHONES jack (3.5 mm mini-jack) and not into the main output. Ensure the headphone impedance is at least 32 Ω. Turn the PHONES LEVEL knob to increase volume. If using Bluetooth, headphone sound is not available on the device itself, but via a separate cable.

How to use the Smart Fader function?

Press the SMART FADER button to activate it. The channel faders and crossfader automatically adjust BPM, low EQ (LOW), and add an echo effect for smooth transitions. To deactivate, press SMART FADER again.

What to do if the device is not recognized by my PC?

Use the supplied USB cable. Plug directly into a PC USB port, avoid hubs. Check in Device Manager (Windows) or Audio/MIDI setup (Mac) that DDJ-FLX2 appears. Restart the computer and reinstall drivers if necessary.

How to set and recall a Hot Cue?

Enter Hot Cue mode by holding SHIFT and pressing BEAT SYNC, then select a pad (1-8). While playing or paused, press a pad to set a Hot Cue. To recall, press the same pad. To clear, hold SHIFT and press the corresponding pad.

Can I use the DDJ-FLX2 with Serato DJ Pro?

Yes, the DDJ-FLX2 is compatible with Serato DJ Pro, but a paid license is required. Uninstall Serato DJ Lite if you want to use the Pro version. Connect the device via USB, and it will be automatically recognized.

How to troubleshoot Bluetooth connection issues?

Keep away devices emitting 2.4 GHz waves (microwaves, WiFi). Make sure the DJ software on the PC is not running if the device is powered by the PC. Bring the mobile closer. If the problem persists, reset the connection by holding both BEAT SYNC buttons for 1 second.

How to update the firmware of the DDJ-FLX2?

The firmware is updated via rekordbox or Serato software. Connect the device to a PC, open the software, and follow the update instructions. Check the AlphaTheta website for the latest version.

The crossfader is not working, what to do?

In Serato DJ Lite, check that the Disable option is not enabled for the crossfader. For rekordbox, make sure the crossfader is not locked in preferences. Restart the software and the device.
