Frequently Asked Questions - CARE - AIR ROWER CARE FITNESS

How does the resistance of the CARE AIR ROWER work?
The rower uses an air brake system: a turbine creates natural resistance proportional to the effort exerted. You adjust the intensity by choosing one of the 10 air intake levels on the turbine's shutter. The faster you row, the more the resistance automatically increases.
Can the rower be folded for storage?
Yes, the CARE AIR ROWER is foldable. Unfolded, it measures 242 x 61 x 113 cm; folded, it occupies 125 x 61 x 137 cm. Transport wheels are included to easily roll it to its storage location.
What is the maximum supported load?
The device supports a maximum user weight of 150 kg, for a height up to 200 cm and beyond. It is designed for intensive use of more than 30 hours per week, corresponding to semi-professional or collective use.
How to connect the rower to the Kinomap app?
The CARE AIR ROWER is KINOMAP compatible via wireless connection. Download the Kinomap app on your smartphone or tablet, activate Bluetooth, then select your rower from the list of detected devices. Place your device on the tablet holder integrated into the console.
Is the heart rate belt included with the rower?
No, the CARE Connect chest belt (ref. OPT011) is sold separately. The rower is equipped with a wireless belt receiver, allowing you to display your heart rate in real time on the console, as well as the Recovery (heart recovery) function.
What information does the console display?
The LCD console displays 9 functions: elapsed time, 500 m time, distance, estimated calories, strokes per minute, accumulated strokes, heart rate (with belt), power in watts, and heart recovery. It requires 2 D 1.5 V batteries (not included).
How to adjust the pedals?
The pedals are adjustable and non-slip with a retaining strap. Loosen the strap, slide your foot to a comfortable position, then tighten the strap across the middle of the foot. Ensure the strap is properly tightened before each session to prevent slipping.
What maintenance is necessary for the chain?
The transmission chain must be regularly lubricated with a light oil, such as bicycle chain oil. Apply a few drops along the entire length of the chain every 2 to 3 months depending on usage frequency. Also, periodically check the chain tension.
What to do if the screen does not turn on?
First, check that the 2 D 1.5 V batteries are correctly installed and not discharged. The console activates automatically at the first stroke. If the problem persists after replacing the batteries, check the connection cable between the console and the speed sensor.
What is the warranty for the CARE AIR ROWER?
The CARE AIR ROWER comes with a 5-year warranty on the frame and 2 years on wear parts. The device is certified ISO 20957 class SA (intensive collective use) and bears the CE/EN957 marking.
Is the aluminum rail suitable for tall users?
Yes, the aluminum beam is designed for users measuring 200 cm and more. The seat's glide amplitude allows for a complete movement even for tall individuals. Ensure the seat reaches the end stop without constraint.
Is the rower suitable for gym use?
Yes, the CARE AIR ROWER is classified ISO 20957 class SA, meaning it is approved for collective use up to 30 hours or more per week. Its high-strength steel frame and 7 kg inertia mass make it suitable for professional environments.

How to correctly insert the seat part into the rail of the CARE FITNESS CARE - AIR ROWER?
Frequently Asked Questions - 07/02/2026
Response Notice-Facile

Correctly inserting the seat into the rail of the CARE - AIR ROWER requires a few simple and precise steps. The seat slides on the aluminum rail of the main beam and should slide freely without obstruction. Before assembling, thoroughly clean the rail to remove any dirt, dust, or debris that could hinder the seat's movement.

For a smooth insertion, apply an appropriate lubricant along the entire length of the rail, especially if the seat seems difficult to slide. We recommend a light silicone-based lubricant, applied with a clean cloth. Gently wipe along the entire rail from front to back to ensure complete and even lubrication.

When inserting, perfectly align the seat with the rail and gradually push it straight with moderate pressure. Maintain its alignment while sliding to avoid any twisting or forcing that could damage the parts. The seat should slide effortlessly once properly lubricated.

Once inserted, check that the seat slides freely back and forth along the aluminum beam of the CARE - AIR ROWER without any blockage or abnormal resistance. Ensure that all fastening parts are securely tightened and that the seat is correctly positioned before your first use.

To extend the lifespan of the rail system, maintaining good lubrication is important. It is recommended to lubricate the rail every 50 hours of use or so, using the same method: apply a small amount of lubricant with a cloth and clean off any residue. This regular maintenance will ensure smooth and lasting sliding of your seat.
