Warnings
- This appliance is intended for domestic household use only and should not be used for any other purpose or in any other application, such as for non-domestic use or in a commercial environment.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Regarding the detailed instructions concerning the method of cleaning, please see section "CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE" on page 49.
WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater. - The heater must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
WARNING: Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on their own, unless constant supervision is provided. - Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
- Do not use this heater if it has been dropped.
- Do not use if there are visible signs of damage to the heater.
- Use this heater on a horizontal and stable surface, or fix it to the
wall, as applicable.
- WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, keep textiles, curtains, or any other flammable material a minimum distance of 1m from the air outlet.
Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised. - Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
- CAUTION - Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
Safety Precautions
- Turn off and unplug the appliance from the mains socket when it is not in use and before cleaning.
- To disconnect the power cord, pull it out by plug. Do not drag the cord itself.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is in use.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not use the appliance for any other than its intended use.
- Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a bench or table, touch hot surfaces or become knotted.
- Do not handle the power cord and plug by wet hands.
- Do not put heavy objects onto the power cord.
- Do not place the heater on or near any source of heat.
- A fire may occur if the heater is covered with or touches flammable material, including curtains, drapes, bedding etc. When in operation. KEEP THE HEATER AWAY FROM SUCH MATERIALS.
- Do not attempt to repair, disassemble or modify the appliance.
There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock, fire, or damage the appliance.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW


OPERATION
The heater carries a symbol 'NO NOT COVER' to alert the user to the risk of overheating that exists if the heater is accidentally covered.
When using your heater for the first time, it is normal for the heater to emit a 'new heater' smell, which will disappear after a while.
Ensure good ventilation.
- Place the heater on a flat, dry and clean floor. Do not to put appliance on a rug or carpet.
- Position the heater upright on the floor, at least 1m away from the wall, away from curtains, furniture or wall coverings.
- Turn the thermostat knob to the minimum position, and then turn the heat setting control knob to the '0' position.
- Plug in the heater.
- Turn the thermostat knob fully clockwise to the maximum position, and then turn the heat setting control knob the desired heat setting.
The fan heater has four modes:

| ♀ | For fan only operation with no output of heat |
| I | Set the fan heater to low heat mode (900w). |
| II | Set the fan heater to high heat mode (1800w). Please also turn the thermostat knob to the ‘MAX’ position. |

To set the temperature, turn the thermostat knob to the desired position.

The thermostat control can be used to maintain your desired room temperature.

Once the room temperature feels comfortable, turn the thermostat knob slowly towards the minimal position.

To turn the fan heater off, turn the heat setting control knob to the '0' position, and turn the thermostat control knob to the minimum position. Unplug the fan heater from the mains socket.
Overheat safety protection
Your heater is fitted with a safety device to switches off the heater in the event of overheating.
Should the overheat protection be triggered, switch off and unplug the heater from the mains socket. Let the heater completely cool and inspect for blocakge of air inlet or outlet. Then plug in and press the power switch again and operate as normal.
If the heater fails to operate or the safety device switches the heater off again, return heater to your nearest service center for examination or repair.
Safety Tip-over switch
The heater is fitted with a safety tip-over switch. If the heater is knocked over, the power to the heater will shut off automatically.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
It is recommended to regularly clean the heater to ensure trouble-free operation.
- Before cleaning the heater, switch off and unplug it from the mains socket. Allow it to completely cool.
- Wipe the exterior of the heater with a slightly damp cloth. Allow it to dry before reconnecting it to the power supply.
- Do not use abrasive or chemical cleaning agents.
- Do not immerse the heater in water or any other liquid. Do not allow water to enter the heater.
- If necessary, remove dust and fluff accumulated inside the heater by running a vacuum cleaner nozzle over the guards.
