USER MANUAL DP7108 MOULINEX
Your appliance is equipped with a device to protect against overheating. If your appliance overheats, it will switch itself off. Unplug the appliance and leave it to cool down for about 20 minutes, then plug it back in and start using it again.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Before using your appliance for the first time, read the booklet carefully and keep it in a safe place.
- Assembly, disassembly and cleaning of the grater discs (according to model) shall not be done by children, due to presence of sharp blades on the other side of the disc.
- Do not use the appliance if the power cord or plug is damaged. The power cord must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales service or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- If the power cable is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an approved service centre or a similarly qualified person, to avoid danger.
- The appliance must not be immersed in water or any other liquid.
- Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
- Never touch the moving parts with your fingers; always use the accessories provided with the appliance or switch it off then unplug it.
- Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the food processor or blender as it can be ejected out of the appliance due to a sudden steaming.
- For appliances which contain a knife, please handle with care when the container is empty and during cleaning, as the blades are very sharp.
- Your appliance is only intended for household culinary use, inside the home and at an altitude below 2000 m. It has not been designed to be used in the following
circumstances, which are not cover by the warranty: in kitchen areas reserved for staff in shops, offices and other professional environments, on farms, by clients of hotels, motels and other residential environments and in guest rooms or similar accommodation.
- Refer to the instructions for initial and regular cleaning of surfaces in contact with foodstuff, and for cleaning and maintenance of your appliance.
- Refer to the user manual for recipes, speed settings, and for safe usage.
- For maximum usage time, please refer to the user’s manual and if no instructions are indicated therein, observe the following instructions: presses, berry juice extractors or mincers must not be used for more than 14 minutes; culinary processors, egg or cream whisks must not be used for more than 40 seconds; citrus juicers, graters and vegetable slicers must not be used for more than 2 minutes. - The press, berry juice extractor, food processor or mincer must not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cable out of the reach of children.
- Egg and cream whisks, graters and citrus juicers may be used by children who are at least 8 years old, as long as they are supervised or have been instructed about using the appliance safely and are fully aware of the dangers involved. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children, unless they are 8 or older and they are supervised by an adult. Keep the appliance and its cable out of reach of children under 8 years of age.
- This appliance may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or whose experience or knowledge is not sufficient, provided they are supervised or have received instruction to use the device safely and understand the dangers. Non European markets
- Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance and do not use it as a toy.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. However, the day you plan to replace it, do not throw it away with normal household rubbish or in a landfill but take it to a suitable collection point provided by your local authority (or to a recycling centre if applicable).
