EN Hints & Tips Stirring or grinding of dried and hard herbs (e.g. Spirifer, black lotus seeds, stone magnets, etc.) is strictly prohibited. Never fill the blender jar with ingredients or liquids hotter than 80°C. The ingredients in the recipe should be proportioned according to the standard water level. When using, the user should adjust the total amount of ingredients based on the amount of water and the type of food, which should not exceed 1,200 mL for the heating functions and 1,500 mL for the cold drink function, otherwise it will easily cause overflow or bottom scorch. Never use the appliance to heat viscous liquids such as milk, soya milk and cold rice paste directly, as this may cause scorching of the bottom and produce an unpleasant smell. The corresponding function button must be selected for making congee, pastes and soups, otherwise the drink prepared will have a bad taste, be undercooked, and in serious cases will cause overflow or bottom scorch. Never add condiments such as granulated sugar or brown sugar to the jar during cooking to avoid them sticking to the bottom of the jar when heated. Never put any external objects such as rags or hoods on the cover of the jar when preparing the heated dishes as this may prevent steam from escaping and spillage; once the liquid in the blending jar has boiled, be careful of the steam and hot water. Do not terminate the programme when the food is boiled (countdown starts). If you terminate by mistake, please do not select the heating function to continue to avoid repeated boiling of hot food causing spillage or bottom scorch. Please change the ingredients and then re-select the function, or use a cooker to continue cooking and then break up the food. When preparing porridge/paste at low water levels (below 800 mL), it is recommended to use no more than 1/10th of the weight of the water for the ingredients, otherwise it is easy to cause a bottom scorch.
