Important safety instruction
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8.
- Improper handling can cause damage to the device and injuries.
- This appliance is intended to
be used in household and similar applications.
- This appliance is intended for an interior and domestic use. It must be installed in accordance with national wiring rules.
- The installation's outlet must always be equipped with a grounded connection.
- If the power supply is not grounded, do not connect the device.
- This appliance is designed for domestic use only. Use this device as described in this manual to avoid any danger.
- Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the voltage indicated on the rating plate on the appliance corresponds to the main voltage.

Do not attempt to repair the unit yourself as there is a risk of

- Any extension cable used must be positioned so that no risk of tripping or hot accidentally.

- Always lift the food from the grill plate with the appropriate utensils.
- Preferably wooden or plastic utensils to avoid scratching.
- Do not leave the unit unattended when it is on.
- Do not use grill near combustible materials. Never place objects, fabrics or other flammable objects near the appliance when it is hot.
- During use, the device must be removed from 15 cm to walls, furniture, etc.

Make sure the power cord does not come into contact with hot parts of the unit when the unit is operating.

Use only the accessories supplied with the device.
- Appliances are not intended to beoperated by means of an externaltimer or separate remote-control system.
- This appliance is hot during use andremains hot for a while after being switched off.

BEFORE STARTING FOR THE FIRST TIME
- Remove all packaging.
- Clean and dry the unit as described under "Cleaning and maintenance".
HOW TO USE YOUR RACLETTE
- Make sure that the thermostat is in position MIN.
- Connect the main plug to a suitable electrical outlet. Switch on the appliance using the thermostat. The control light lights up. Set the thermostat to position MAX. Preheat the appliance for 10 to 15 minutes.
- If you want to use the grill after preheating, then keep the thermostat in position MAX. Otherwise it is recommended to lower the temperature a little.
- The unit may emit a slight smell or smoke the first time it is used. This is normal and will only last for a short time. Ensure proper ventilation.
- Use approximately 200g of raclette cheese per person. Cut the cheese into 3 to 5 ~mm thick slices. The slices must be smaller in diameter than the pans.
- We recommend the following ingredients: boiled potatoes, pickled gherkins, olives, pickled mini onions, vegetables, ham, boiled meat and anything suitable to be backed with cheese.
- Put the desired ingredients into the pan. Cover the ingredients with a slice of cheese. Place the pans onto the base. Place each pan into the indicated position. Grasp the pans by the handle only. Do not grasp and cross the stopper. Place desired ingredients on the grill plate. Ingredients must not touch the heating coil. Therefore, ensure the pans are not overfull.
- When the cheese is melted, the contents of the pan can be placed on a plate. Season to taste. Use soft utensils like wooden spatulas to remove cheese from pans, and don't use utensils that are too hard or sharp. Otherwise, the non-stick coating could be damaged. You can add pickles, pickled onions, etc. to the cheese.

When finished, switch off the appliance with thermostat to position MIN.

Unplug appliance, after cooled, store in indoor, a safe & dry place, awayfrom children.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- In addition to this, you must follow the safety instructions.
- Always unplug the appliance and let it cool before cleaning it.
- Remove the larger residues first. Always handle with care, not to damage the non-stick coating. Therefore, use soft tools such as plastic or wooden spoons. Do not use sharp or abrasive cleaning materials.
- Clean pans and grill with a mild cleaning agent and hot water.
- The appliance's parts should only be cleaned with a moist cloth and a bit of cleaning detergent, they are not dishwasher safe.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or any other fluid.
- Clean the pans and the grill with a mild detergent and hot water.
- The parts of the appliance should be cleaned with a damp cloth and a little detergent. Do not wash them in the dishwasher.
