USER MANUAL Please read these instructions carefully before using this appliance. Please keep these instructions for future reference. This product conforms to the requirements of directives 2014/35/UE (repealing directive 73/23/CEE amended by directive 93/68/CEE) and 2014/30/UE (repealing directive 89/336/CEE).EN-2
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years old and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years old.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.EN-3

- The control probe must be removed before the appliance is cleaned and that the appliance inlet must be dried before the appliance is used again.

- Improper handling can cause damage to the device and injuries.
- This appliance is intended for an interior and domestic use. It must be installed in accordance with national wiring rules.
- The installation’s outlet must always be equipped with a grounded connection. If the power supply is not grounded, do not connect the device.EN-4
- Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the voltage indicated on the rating plate on the appliance corresponds to the main voltage.
- To avoid any risk of electric shock, do not immerse the cord or plug in water or in any other liquid.
- Never try to open the housing yourself. Do not insert objects inside the housing. Do not remove any part of the housing.
- Do not use the device if your hands are wet, if the ground is wet or if the environment is humid.
- Do not touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands.

Wash the hotplate and drip tray in warm soapy water using a mild household detergent. Dry hotplate and drip tray thoroughly. Place drip tray into base. For easy cleaning, the drip tray lined with aluminium foil. This will collect the fat and juices. For better non-stick performance, season the cooking surface of the hotplate by applying a thin coat of cooking oil and rubbing in with paper towelling before each use. Using your griddle
1. Insert the control probe fully into the socket of the hotplate.
2. Plug the cord into a power outlet and turn the power ON.

The light will remain ON until the set temperature has been reached and then will cycle ON and OFF throughout cooking. It ensures that the grill always maintains the selected temperature.

Care and Cleaning Do not leave plastic utensils in contact with hotplate while cooking. Do not use sharp objects or cut food on top of the grill. When cleaning the non-stick coating do not use metal or other abrasive scourers. After cleaning, dry the Grill thoroughly with a soft cloth before storing. Always turn the power off and remove the plug from the power point before cleaning.EN-11 Remove the control probe from the socket of the grill. When the control probe is removed, the plate can be cleaning and able to immerse in water for cleaning. Do not put the plate in dishwasher. Control probe Please wipe the control probe with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the control probe in water or any other liquid. Store the probe carefully in a safe place. Do not knock or drop it as this can damage the probe. Hotplate and drip tray The element in the hotplate is totally sealed, so it is safe to fully immerse in water. Wash the hotplate and drip tray in warm soapy water, use a mild household detergent and a soft washing sponge. A bottle brush may be used to clean between the hotplate grill bars. The whole unit is completely water immersible cleaning with control probe removed. Storage Always dry the grill before storing. Ensure the drip tray is correctly positioned. Store the grill on a flat surface on your bench top or cupboard. Important : before inserting control probe in probe socket, ensure the interior of the socket is fully dry. To do this, wipe interior of socket with a dry cloth or shake out excess water vigorously.
