OVERVIEW The Outdoor Housing (SHG-223) is a Housing used to install the SMARTDOME CAMERA
(SCC-641/643, SCC-C6403/C6405/C6407/C6475) on an outdoor wall or ceiling.
1. Select an installation spot which can endure more than 4 times of the product weight. 2. If you install this product in a low-temp area such as inside a cold store, you must seal up the wiring pipe with silicon, so that the external air can not flow inside the housing. Otherwise, external high, humid air may flow inside the housing, pooling moisture or vapor inside the product due to a difference between internal and external temperature.
1. Install OUTDOOR HOUSING using the provided adaptor according to the place for installation. Install the Adapter below according to the installation guide of each product. ① CEILING MOUNT ADAPTOR(SCX-300CM) : For installation on a ceiling. ② WALL MOUNT ADAPTOR(SCX-300WM) : For direct installation on a wall. ③ POLE MOUNT ADAPTOR(SCX-300PM) : For installation on a cylindrical pole. - The Wall Mounted Adaptor(SCX-300WM) is also used in conjunction with the Pole Mounted Adaptor. ④ CORNER MOUNT ADAPTOR (SCX-300KM) : It is used when the camera is installed on a corner of the wall. - The WALL MOUNTED ADAPTOR (SCX-300WM) is also used in conjunction with the Pole Mounted Adaptor. ⑤ PARAPET MOUNT ADAPTOR(SCX-300LM) : Use this if you install the product on the internal wall of a building roof and locate the camera outdoors.

2. Insert the cables from the processed pipe for 1.5" NPT screw thread (female), Wall
Mount Adaptor or Ceiling Mount Adaptor into the Outdoor Housing (SHG-223). Then, insert the Outdoor Housing to the 1.5" NPT screw thread and turn it clockwise to secure to the Pipe or Adaptor.
Make sure you fix the Pipe or Adaptor so that it reaches to the end of the 1.5” NPT screw
thread on the Outdoor Housing. If not secured tightly, the Outdoor Housing may loosen from the Pipe or Adaptor, causing physical damage or malfunction. (Make sure you check the connection between two components before proceeding with the next step.)

3. Apply "Grease" to the "Bush" that comes with this product as accessory.
Insert the cables into each applicable hole of the "Bush". Please see the figure below to check the arrow direction for inserting the cable into the "Bush". The "Grease" is used to facilitate inserting the cables.
If you connect the additional ETC cable to the “Bush”, remove the pin from the “Bush” before inserting the cable.

4. Secure the “Bush" to the "Outdoor Housing" as shown.
If the "Bush" is not secured correctly, waterproofness will not work. Therefore, secure the "Bush" to the "Housing" tightly by pressing each side of the "Bush" evenly. BUSH
5. Prepare the applicable "Camera Adaptor" for the "Camera" to install.
Connect the " Heater Power" cable to the "Camera Adaptor" as shown. Then, connect other cables of power, video output and alarm I/O cables to the Adaptor. For more information, see the installation guide of the Smart Dome Camera.

6. Arrange the cables neatly and use the 4 screws (M4xL8, included in the camera package) to fix the Camera Adaptor to the "Screw Hole" of the "Bracket Adaptor" that is attached to the
"Outdoor Housing". Make sure that the “Lever” of the Camera Adaptor faces opposite to the protruding part inside the “Outdoor Housing”.
7. Remove the Dome from the “Smart Dome Camera”.
Loosen the side screw (M2) of the Smart Dome Camera and turn the “Dome” clockwise by about 15 degrees before pulling it down.

8. Hook the Safety Wire on the Camera to the Safety Rack of the Camera Adapter.
During installation or detachment, to avoid safety accident and camera damage due to the fall, make sure the safety wire is secured to the hook.
9. Align the arrow of the "Camera Adaptor" in line with the "arrow" mark on the "Camera", insert three guides into each applicable hole of the "Guide Hole" of the Camera Adaptor, and turn the camera clockwise by 15 degrees until you hear a click.
Please check if the holes of the "Lever Lock" are changed from "A" to "B" as shown.

10. Fix the screw (M3xL6, included in the camera package) to the applicable hole of the lever lock.
If you want to remove the Camera from the Camera Adaptor, loosen the screw (BH M3xL6) and turn the Lever Lock clockwise while turning the Camera counter clockwise before pulling it down. OUTDOOR HOUSING

11. Fit the 4 screws on the Cover Dome into the 4 screw holes of the Housing before securing the Cover Dome to the Housing.
Please read and observe the following assembly instructions. ① Tidy up the Safety Wire and Heater Power cables into the Housing carefully so that they do not interrupt camera operation. ② Make sure not to let the Gasket Dome part loose from the Cover Dome part. ③ Make sure not to let the O-Ring loose from the screws on the Cover Dome. In addition, while you are working on the Housing, make sure to insert the O-Ring into the grooves around the Screw Holes of the Housing.
- If the Gasket Dome is detached, the product is not properly waterproof.
- If the O-Ring is loose, the product is not properly waterproof.
