How to use the pulse mode?

Turn the knob to the P position and hold it down for the desired duration (max 2 seconds per pulse). Release to stop. To crush ice cubes, repeat 8 to 12 pulses of 1 to 3 seconds.

How long can I run the blender continuously?

The maximum continuous usage time is 3 minutes in normal mode and 2 minutes in pulse mode. Let the appliance cool down for at least 1 minute before reuse.

Can I blend hot liquids?

No. Do not pour liquids at a temperature above 60°C to avoid cracking the glass. Let hot preparations cool down before blending.

How to clean the blender?

Always unplug the appliance. Clean the motor base with a slightly damp cloth (do not immerse). Wash the bowl, lid, and measuring cap by hand in warm water. Do not put them in the dishwasher. The blades are sharp, handle with care.

What to do if the appliance does not start?

First check that the appliance is properly plugged in and the rotary knob is not on 0. Make sure the mixing bowl is correctly engaged (the safety switch blocks operation if the bowl is not in place). If the motor is too hot, the overheat protection has triggered: set the knob to 0, unplug, and let it cool for at least 15 minutes.

Can I crush ice with this blender?

Yes. Place a maximum of 10 ice cubes (size approximately 25×25×25 mm) in the bowl. Use pulse mode P in sessions of 1 to 3 seconds, repeating 8 to 12 times. If you add liquid, you can use speed 2 for 1 to 2 minutes.

Can I put the bowl in the dishwasher?

No. The individual parts (bowl, lid, measuring cap) are not dishwasher safe. Clean them by hand with warm water and mild detergent.

How to assemble the blender?

Place the mixing bowl tilted onto the motor base and turn it clockwise until it clicks into place (4 possible positions). Push the lid firmly onto the bowl, then insert and tighten the measuring cap into the lid opening.

What are the speed levels and what do they correspond to?

The adjustment knob offers: 0 (stop), 1 (slow speed), 2-3 (medium speed), 4 (fast speed), P (pulse mode for short bursts at high speed). Use the speeds according to the desired texture.

Is the appliance suitable for persons with reduced capacities?

Yes, provided they are supervised or have received instructions on safe use and understand the risks. Children must not use the appliance. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.

Unpacking the Device

1. Remove the device from its packaging.
2. Remove all packaging materials such as foils, filling materials, cable holders, and carton packaging.
3. Check the scope of delivery for completeness.

There may still be dust or production remains on the device. We recommend that you clean the device as described under "Cleaning".

Installation

Mixing Vessel

Set the mixing vessel inclined onto the motor housing and turn it clockwise to tighten it (refer to the illustration). The mixing vessel can be set in 4 positions.

Lid

1. Press the lid firmly onto the mixing vessel. It must seal the mixing vessel completely.
2. Insert the cap into the refill opening of the lid. Tighten the cap by turning it clockwise.

NOTE:

The refill opening cap can also be used as a measuring cup.

Notes on Use

CAUTION:

The glass may crack if the temperature is too high! DO NOT fill with liquids above 60°C.

• Place the device on a firm and flat surface. Position it so that it cannot tip over.
• Only switch on the appliance if the mixing vessel is closed with the lid. The refill opening in the lid must also be closed.
• Do not overfill the mixing vessel! You can fill it to a maximum of 1.5 liters. Use the scale on the jug.
• Froth requires a large capacity. Reduce quantities of liquids which produce a lot of froth.
• Keep one hand on the lid if you are crushing ice or if there is a large quantity of ingredients.
• Cut the food to be mixed into small pieces beforehand.

Electric Connection

• Before inserting the power plug into the outlet, check that the mains voltage to be used matches that of the device. You can find the required information on the nameplate.
• Connect the device only to a correctly installed safety socket.

Short-interval Use

The appliance is suitable for short-time operation of max. 3 minutes. Let it cool for 1 minute before using it again!

Pulse Mode

Switch to pulse mode by turning the control to the "P" position and then release it. Use the appliance in this operating mode for a maximum of 3 minutes. Let it cool for 1 minute before using it again!

Crushing Ice Cubes

The blades in the mixing vessel are also suitable for crushing ice cubes.

• Put a maximum of 10 pieces (size approx. 25 x 25 x 25 mm) into the mixing vessel. Use pulse operation "P" for 1-3 seconds. Repeat the process 8-12 times.
• When adding fluid, you can use the "2" setting for 1-2 minutes.

Operation

Preparation

1. Ensure that the function switch is in the "0" position.
2. Place the mixing vessel in position.
3. Now put the ingredients that are to be mixed into the mixing vessel.
4. Put the lid on.
5. Close the refill opening with the cap.

Mixing

Operation is carried out with the setting control:

Level 0 amp; = off Level 1 = low Level 2-3 = medium speed Level 4 = high rpm P = High speed

Adding further ingredients to be mixed

Items to be mixed or spices can be fed in through the filling aperture.

• Please switch off the machine before doing so. Before you switch the device on again, close the opening.

Stopping operation

1. Turn the switch to the "0" position.
2. Wait until the blade comes to a complete stop.
3. Remove the mains plug from the socket.
4. Remove the mixing vessel. Turn it anticlockwise.
5. Take off the lid before pouring.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Citrus juices and food containing acids should never be stored in metal vessels.

Cleaning

WARNING:

• Always remove the plug before cleaning.
• Under no circumstances should you immerse the device in water for cleaning purposes. Otherwise this might result in an electric shock or fire.
• The blades on the knife block are very sharp. A risk of injury exists!

CAUTION:

• Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.
• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
• The individual parts are not dishwasher-safe.

NOTE: Preliminary Cleaning

Fill the mixing vessel halfway with water. Operate the appliance for approx. 10 seconds.

For thorough cleaning, please remove the mixing vessel.

Mixing Vessel, Lid and Measuring Cup

Clean these parts in a bowl of hot water. Then dry everything before assembling the parts again.

Housing

Only a moderately moist cloth should be used for cleaning the outside of the device.

Troubleshooting
