How to assemble the universal grinder?

No, the universal grinder is not suitable for very hard products like coffee beans, horseradish, or nutmeg.

How to clean the whisk?

The whisk can be washed in the dishwasher. Only clean the gear attachment with a damp cloth.

Can I use the whisk without the gear attachment?

No, never insert the whisk directly into the base unit. Always use the gear attachment.

What is the maximum quantity for the grinder?

Respect the maximum quantities indicated in the instruction table (Figure D). Do not exceed to avoid overflow.

Is the universal grinder microwave safe?

No, the universal grinder is not microwave safe.

How to detach the top part after use?

Turn the top part counterclockwise and detach it from the universal grinder.

Can I blend hot liquids with the whisk?

Yes, the whisk can handle hot milk up to 70°C. Use a tall, narrow container to avoid splashes.

How to get spare parts?

Order the universal grinder (ref. 12009171) or whisk (ref. 00750665) from Bosch customer service.

What to do if the blade does not turn?

Check that the top part is properly engaged and the base unit is correctly attached. Make sure the appliance is plugged in and the button is pressed.

This accessory is designed for the hand blender MSM1..../MSM2.... Follow the operating instructions for the hand blender.

The accessories are suitable only for the use described in these instructions.

Risk of injury from sharp blades!

Never reach into the blade of the universal cutter. Take hold of the universal cutter blade by the plastic handle only. Do not touch the blade of the universal cutter with bare hands. Clean with a brush. The universal cutter must be completely assembled before use!

Important!

Do not attach or remove accessories until the appliance is at a standstill.

Never use the hand blender/blender foot in the universal cutter.

The universal cutter is not microwave-safe.

Do not attach or remove the attachment for the universal cutter until the appliance has come to a standstill. Never immerse the attachment of the universal cutter in liquids and do not clean under running water or in the dishwasher.

Never insert the whisk into the base unit without the gear attachment. Never immerse the gear attachment in liquids and do not clean under running water or in the dishwasher.

If the universal cutter is not included with the hand blender, it can be ordered from customer service (order no. 12009171). With the universal cutter, you can use the appliance at full power (according to the recipe). → Fig. D

Operation

For cutting meat, hard cheese, onions, herbs, garlic, fruit, vegetables, nuts and almonds. Always observe the maximum quantities in the table. → Fig. D

Warning!

Before cutting meat, remove gristle, bones and sinews. The universal cutter is not suitable for cutting very hard items (coffee beans, radishes, nutmeg) and frozen food (fruit, etc.).

Place universal cutter on a smooth, clean work surface and press into position. Insert blade.

Warning!

The blade must be positioned evenly in the universal cutter.

Add food. - Place attachment on the universal cutter and rotate in a clockwise direction until it clicks into position. - Place base unit on the attachment and rotate in a clockwise direction. Connect the mains plug. Hold the base unit and universal cutter firmly and switch on the appliance. Release the On button after processing. - Place the lid on the universal cutter to keep in the processed ingredients.

After using the appliance/ cleaning

Warning!

Never immerse the attachment of the universal cutter in water and do not clean under running water or in the dishwasher.

Remove the base unit from the attachment. Rotate the attachment in an anti-clockwise direction and take off the universal cutter. Take hold of the blade by the plastic handle and take it out. The universal cutter and blade are dishwasher-safe. Wipe the attachment with a damp cloth only.

Important!

Do not attach or remove the gear attachment with whisk until the appliance is at a standstill.

Operation

For whipping cream, beating egg whites and milk froth from hot (max. 70°C) and cold milk (max. 8°C) as well as for preparing sauces and desserts.

Warning

Risk of scalding!

When processing hot milk, use a tall, narrow receptacle for blending. Hot milk may splash and scald you.

Never insert the whisk into the base unit without the gear attachment.

• Place gear attachment on the base unit and turn anti-clockwise. Insert the whisk into the gear attachment and lock into position. Put the food in the blender jug. Take hold of the base unit and blender jug and press the On button. Release the On button after processing.

After using the appliance/ cleaning

Warning!

Never immerse the gear attachment in water and do not clean under running water or in the dishwasher.

Remove the base unit from the gear attachment. Remove the whisk from the gear attachment. The whisk can be cleaned in the dishwasher, but wipe the gear attachment with a damp cloth only.

Install the gear attachment on the base unit and turn it counterclockwise. Insert the whisk into the gear attachment and lock it. Put the products into the blender jug. Holding the base unit and the blender jug, press the On button. After processing, release the On button.

After use/cleaning

Warning!

Do not immerse the reduction attachment in water and do not wash it under running water or in a dishwasher.

Remove the main unit with the reduction attachment. Remove the whisk from the reduction attachment. The whisk can be washed in a dishwasher, but the reduction attachment should only be wiped with a damp cloth.
