How to turn on the hood?

Press the On/Off symbol (①) for 1 second to turn on the hood. Press again to turn it off.

How to activate maximum speed (Boost)?

Press the Boost symbol (6) to activate maximum speed for 5 minutes. Then the hood returns to the previous setting.

What does the filter indicator mean?

The filter indicator lights up (solid) to remind of grease filter cleaning or flashes to indicate charcoal filter replacement. It lasts 30 seconds.

How to clean the grease filter?

Remove the filter by pressing the clip lever, then wash it in a low-temperature dishwasher or by hand with a mild detergent. Reinstall it once dry.

How to replace the charcoal filter?

First remove the grease filters. Turn the charcoal filter to the left, then pull it down to remove it. Insert the new filter by turning it to the right.

How to reset the filter indicator?

Press the Filter notification symbol (7) for 3 seconds until the indicator turns off or flashes depending on the state.

How does the Hob²Hood function work?

This function connects the hood to a compatible hob via infrared. The speed adjusts automatically according to the temperature of the hottest pot. Activate it from the hob.

What to do if the lighting stops working?

The bulb is an LED that can only be replaced by an authorized technician. Contact after-sales service.

Can the charcoal filter be washed?

No, the charcoal filter is not washable. It must be replaced when saturated (flashing indicator).

How often to clean the grease filters?

It is recommended to clean the grease filters every month or when the filter indicator lights up. Regular cleaning prevents fire risks.

2. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

2.1 Control panel overview

3. DAILY USE

3.1 Using the hood

Check the recommended speed according to the table below.

Y1	While heating up food, cooking with covered pots.
Y2	While cooking with covered pots on multiple cook- ing zones or burners, gentle frying.
Y3	While boiling and frying big quantities of food with- out a lid, cooking on multiple cooking zones or burners.
and	While boiling and frying big quantities of food with- out a lid, big humidity.

It is recommended to leave the hood operating for approximately 15 minutes after cooking.

The control panel is a sensor field. Touch the symbols for 1 second to activate the functions.

To operate the hood:

1. Turn on the appliance by pressing the ① symbol.

You can now activate the functions. 2. To activate the function touch the symbol. 3. If needed, touch the light symbol to illuminate the cooking surface.

To turn off the appliance press the ① symbol again.

3.2 Hob²Hood function

It is an automatic function which connects the hob with a hood. Both the hob and the hood have an infrared signal communicator. Speed of the fan is defined automatically on basis of mode setting and temperature of the hottest cookware on the hob. You can also operate the fan using the hob manually. The function can be activated from panel of the hob.

3.3 Activating Maximum Motor Speed

When you touch , the Maximum Motor Speed starts to operate for 8

minutes. After that time, the appliance returns to its previous speed settings.

When the function is turned on, additional touches on do not have any effects.

3.4 Filter notification

The filter alarm reminds you to change or clean the charcoal filter and clean the grease filter. The filter indicator is turned on for 30 seconds if the grease filter must be cleaned. The filter indicator flashes for 30 seconds if the charcoal filter must be replaced or cleaned.

To reset the function, touch for 3 seconds.

To activate or deactivate the function:

1. Switch on the control panel.
2. Make sure that the icons are turned white.
3. To activate the function, touch for 3 seconds.

If the function is activated, the filter icon flashes five times.

4. CARE AND CLEANING

4.1 Notes on cleaning

Cleaning Agents	Do not use abrasive detergents and brushes. Clean the surface of the appliance with a soft cloth with warm water and a mild detergent.
	After cooking some parts of appliance can get hot. To avoid stains appliance must be cooled down and dried with clean cloth or paper towels.
	Clean stains with a mild detergent.
Keep the hood clean	Clean the appliance and grease filters each month. Clean the interior and grease filters carefully from fat. Fat accumulation or other residue may cause fire. Follow the instructions for cleaning the accessories when filter notification is on. Refer to Filter notification in daily use chapter.
	Grease filters can be washed in a dishwasher. The dishwasher must be set to a low temperature and a short cycle. The grease filter may discolour, it has no influence on the performance of the appliance.
Charcoal filter	The time of saturation of the charcoal filter varies depending on the type of cooking and the regularity of cleaning the grease filter.

4.2 Cleaning the grease filter

Filters are mounted with the use of clips and pins on the opposite side.

To clean the filter:

1. Press the handle of the mounting clip on the filter panel underneath the hood.

1. Slightly tilt the front of the filter downwards, then pull.

Repeat the first two steps for all filters.

1. Clean the filters using a sponge with non-abrasive detergents or in a dishwasher.

The dishwasher must be set to a low temperature and a short cycle. The grease filter may discolour, but this has no influence on the performance of the appliance.

1. To mount the filters back, follow the first two steps in reverse order.

Repeat the steps for all filters if applicable.

4.3 Replacing the charcoal filter

The charcoal filter must be replaced if the filter alarm is on.

Refer to the filter notification in the daily use chapter for more information about this function.

WARNING!

The charcoal filter is NON-washable! The filter cannot be regenerated!

To replace the charcoal filter:

1. Remove the grease filters from the appliance. Refer to "Cleaning the grease filter" in this chapter.
2. Turn the filter counterclockwise (1) and then pull (2).

To mount the filters back, follow the steps in reverse order.

4.4 Replacing the lamp

This appliance is supplied with a LED lamp and separate control gear (LED driver). These parts can be replaced by a technician only. In case of any malfunction, refer to "Service" in the "Safety Instructions" chapter.

5. ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS

Recycle materials with the symbol \(\mathcal{C}\). Put the packaging in relevant containers to recycle it. Help protect the environment and human health by recycling waste of electrical and electronic appliances. Do not dispose of

2.1 Control panel

1. ① Press the power button to turn on the device.

The indicator lights up.

2. To turn off the device, press the button. 3. If necessary, press the button again to reset.

To turn off the device, press and hold the ① button.

3.2 Function

The device automatically turns off when the temperature reaches the set value. The temperature sensor signal

is transmitted to the communication port. The device automatically turns off when the temperature exceeds the maximum allowable temperature. Therefore, do not leave the device unattended. This function can be disabled via the menu.

3.3 Checking the oil level

With the engine off, check the oil level within 8 minutes of stopping. After that, the oil level reading may be inaccurate.

Function check:

If the engine is hot, wait for it to cool down.

3.4 Low oil pressure warning

The low oil pressure warning light should not come on during normal operation, except when the ignition is switched on. If the low oil pressure warning light comes on, the warning light should stay on for 30 seconds. If the low oil pressure warning light does not come on, the warning light should stay off for 30 seconds.

The warning and indicator lights include the low oil pressure warning light and the low oil pressure warning light.

To test the function, press and hold the button for 3 seconds.

To activate or deactivate the function:

1. Press the button.

3.3 Setting the maximum engine speed.

When you press the button, the device will operate at maximum engine speed for a period of 8 minutes. After that period, the device returns to its preset speed.

When the function is activated, the additional power has no effect.

3.4 FILTER INDICATOR

The filter indicator reminds you to replace or clean the oil filter and to clean the air filter. The filter indicator is activated for 30 seconds if the oil filter needs to be cleaned.

The filter indicator flashes for 30 seconds if the air filter needs to be replaced or cleaned.

This function uses automation, linking the hob to the hood. Both the hob and the hood maintain the connection via the hob's cooking zones. The fan speed is set automatically based on the selected mode and temperature of the pots on the hob. There is also the possibility of manual adjustment of the fan using the hob. The function is activated on the hob control panel.

3.3 Switching on the motor at maximum speed

When touching the motor for 8 minutes, it switches to maximum speed mode. After this period, the appliance returns to the previous speed setting.

If this function is activated, further touches do not produce any result.

3.4 Filter warning

The indicator lamp signals the need to replace the carbon filter or clean the grease filter. If cleaning of the grease filter is necessary, the filter indicator lights up for 30 seconds. The need to replace the carbon filter within 30 seconds causes the filter indicator to flash.

The function is activated by holding the button for three seconds.

The dishwasher must be set to a low temperature and a short cycle. The grease filter may change color; this does not affect the performance of the appliance.

Carbon filter

The saturation time of the carbon filter varies depending on the type of cooking and the frequency of cleaning of the grease filter.

4.2 Cleaning the grease filter

For washing them in the dishwasher.

The dishwasher must be set to a low temperature and a short cycle. The grease filter may change color; this does not affect the performance of the appliance.

4. To reinstall the filters, perform the two steps described above in reverse order. Repeat these steps with all filters, if applicable.

4.3 Replacing the carbon filter

The carbon filter must be replaced after the signal indicator for the filter has been activated.

3.3 Activating the maximum suction power

Pressing the button activates the maximum suction power for 8 minutes. After this time, the

device returns to the previously set suction power.

When the function is activated, the button does not light up.

3.4 Filter reminders

The filter reminders indicate the need to replace or clean the HEPA filter and the carbon filter. If the HEPA filter needs cleaning, the indicator flashes for 30 seconds. If the carbon filter needs replacement or cleaning, the indicator flashes for 30 seconds
