USER MANUAL ODETTE PLUS FABER

EN 1. SAFETY INFORMATION
For your safety and correct operation of the appliance, read this manual carefully before installation and use. Always keep these instructions with the appliance even if you move or sell it. Users must fully know the operation and safety features of the appliance.

The wire connection has to be done by specialized technician.
- The manufacturer will not be held liable for any damages resulting from incorrect or improper installation.
- The minimum safety distance between the cooker top and the extractor hood is 650 mm (some models can be installed at a lower height, please refer to the paragraphs on working dimensions and installation).
- If the instructions for installation for the gas hob specify a greater distance, this must be respected.
- Check that the mains voltage corresponds to that indicated on the rating plate fixed to the inside of the hood.
- Means for disconnection must be incorporated in the fixed wiring in accordance with the wiring rules.
- For Class I appliances, check that the domestic power supply guarantees adequate earthing.
- Connect the extractor to the exhaust flue through a pipe of minimum diameter 120 mm. The route of the flue must be as short as possible.
- Regulations concerning the discharge of air have to be fulfilled.
- Do not connect the extractor hood to exhaust ducts carrying combustion fumes (boilers, fireplaces, etc.).
- If the extractor is used in conjunction with non-electrical appliances (e.g. gas burning appliances), a sufficient degree of aeration must be guaranteed in the room in order to prevent the backflow of exhaust gas. When the cooker hood is used in conjunction with appliances supplied with energy other than electric, the negative pressure in the room must not exceed 0.04 mbar to prevent fumes being drawn back into the room by the cooker hood.
- The air must not be discharged into a flue that is used for exhausting fumes from appliances, burning gas or other fuels.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent.
- Connect the plug to a socket complying with current regulations, located in an accessible place.
- With regards to the technical and safety measures to be adopted for fume discharging,
it is important to closely follow the regulations provided by the local authorities.
WARNING: Before installing the Hood, remove the protective films. - Use only screws and small parts in support of the hood. WARNING: Failure to install the screws or fixing device in accordance with these instructions may result in electrical hazards. - Do not look directly at the light through optical devices (binoculars, magnifying glasses...). - Do not flambé under the range hood; risk of fire. - This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. - Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. - The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction.
! Accessible parts may become hot when used with cooking appliances.
- Clean and/or replace the Filters after the specified time period (Fire hazard). See paragraph Care and Cleaning.
- There shall be adequate ventilation of the room when the range hood is used at the same time as appliances burning gas or other fuels (not applicable to appliances that only discharge the air back into the room).
- The symbol \(\underline{\mathbf{x}}\) on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product may not be treated as household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health, which could otherwise be caused by inappropriate waste handling of this product. 2. USE
- The extractor hood has been designed exclusively for domestic use to eliminate kitchen smells.
- Never use the hood for purposes other than for which it has been designed.
- Never leave high naked flames under the hood when it is in operation.
- Adjust the flame intensity to direct it onto the bottom of the pan only, making sure that it does not engulf the sides.
- Deep fat fryers must be continuously monitored during use: overheated oil can burst into flames.
3. CARE AND CLEANING
- The Activated charcoal filter is not washable and cannot be regenerated, and must be replaced approximately every 4 months of operation, or more frequently for particularly heavy usage (W).

- The Grease filters must be cleaned every 2 months of operation, or more frequently for particularly heavy usage, and can be washed in a dishwasher (Z).

- Clean the hood using a damp cloth and a neutral liquid detergent.
4. CONTROLS

At the end of this time, the system returns automatically to the speed that was set before. If it is activated with the motor turned off, it will switch to Off at the end of the time. 5. REMOTE CONTROL
The remote control is powered by a CR2032 type 3 V battery (not included).
- Do not place the remote control near heat sources.
- Do not discard the batteries with normal waste, they must be put into the specific containers.

It is disabled by pressing the button again or pressing the "Motor Off" button. |

To deactivate the DELAY, simply press the button again or turn the suction motor off. The DELAY is indicated on the keyboard by flashing of the motor LED (every 0.5 seconds). Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to activate the 24h function. The hood turns on at speed 1. In this case the suction motor is turned on for 10 minutes every hour for a total of 24h, after which the function is deactivated automatically. The 24h function is indicated on the keyboard by flashing of the motor LED (every 2 seconds). To deactivate the 24h function, simply press the button again or turn the suction motor off. Function not enabled with Intensive or Delay active. |

6. LIGHTING
- For replacement contact technical support ("To purchase contact technical support").
- The electrical connection must be made in accordance with the wiring rules. For devices of class I, check that the mains supply voltage corresponds to the rated voltage and that the earthing is adequate.
- Check that the vacuum cleaner hose has a minimum diameter of 120 mm. The hose of the motor must be long enough.
- The air outlet filters must be cleaned. Do not connect the vacuum cleaner to a duct through which flammable gases are drawn (boilers, furnaces, etc.). If the vacuum cleaner is used together with devices that do not operate on electricity (for example, gas appliances), it must be ensured that the room is sufficiently ventilated to prevent the backflow of exhaust gases. When the vacuum cleaner is used together with appliances that do not operate on electricity, the negative pressure in the room must not exceed 0.04 mbar, in order to prevent the backflow of exhaust gases into the room from the vacuum cleaner.
In the case of use for extracting gases from appliances that operate on gas or other fuels.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person. - Connect the plug to a socket that corresponds to the rated values and is located in a well-ventilated area. - With regard to the technical and safety measures for gas extraction, it is important to strictly follow the local regulations.
WARNING: Before cleaning the vacuum cleaner, remove the plug from the socket. - Use only original accessories for the vacuum cleaner. WARNING: If the accessories or the device for cleaning are not used in accordance with these instructions, there may be a risk of electric shock. - Do not look directly into the light of optical devices (magnifying glass, lens...). This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Install the device so that it can be easily accessed when using the appliance for cooking.

at the same time appliances operating on gas or other fuels are used (not applicable to appliances that discharge air into the room).

2. USE
- The hood is designed exclusively for household use to eliminate kitchen odors. Do not use the hood for other purposes than those for which it was designed.
- Never leave
the open flame of the hood while it is working.
-Adjust the flame intensity to direct it onto the bottom of the pan. Check that the flame does not extend beyond the sides of the pan. -Be careful when frying: the oil in the pan must be constantly monitored during use: overheated oil can easily catch fire.
3. MAINTENANCE
-The filter with active charcoal cannot be washed or renewed, so it must be replaced approximately every three months, or more often with particularly intensive use (W).

Cleaning the hood.
- In case of class 1 appliances, check that the electrical installation can provide adequate grounding.
- Connect the hood to the ventilation duct with a minimum diameter of 120mm. The duct should be as short as possible.
- The regulations concerning the discharge of air must be observed. Do not connect the hood to exhaust ducts that pass through rooms with fireplaces (e.g., from boilers and stoves).
- If the vacuum cleaner is used together with non-electric appliances (e.g., appliances that burn gas), adequate ventilation of the room must be ensured to prevent the return flow of exhaust gases. When the vacuum cleaner is used together with appliances that do not use electrical energy, the negative pressure in the room must not exceed 0.04 mbar to prevent exhaust gases from being drawn back through the vacuum cleaner into the room. Air must not be drawn through a ventilation duct that is used for exhausting fumes from appliances that run on gas or other fuels.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or their service agent.
- Place the vacuum cleaner in a room that is in accordance with the applicable regulations and positioned in an easily accessible place.
- In order to apply technical and safety measures related to the extraction of fumes, it is important to carefully follow the local regulations.

WARNING: Do not operate the vacuum cleaner without the filter bag.
- Use only original filter bags that fit the vacuum cleaner.

WARNING: Installing the filter bag incorrectly or not closing the device properly may lead to severe electric shock.
Do not point directly at the light source through the optical aids (e.g., magnifying glass, lenses...). Do not look directly into the vacuum cleaner; danger of burns. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, as well as persons who lack sufficient experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the appliance and understand the possible dangers. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be
performed by children without supervision.

2. YNOTPEBA
- The aspirator is designed exclusively for laying linoleum in the household.
- Never use the aspirator for anything other than what it is intended for.
- Never leave an open flame near the aspirator when it is in use. Adjust the flame intensity so that it is directed only at the fabric, not at its side surfaces. During use, you must continuously supervise: an unattended flame can ignite.
3. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
This filter cannot be cleaned and regenerated; it must be replaced every 2 months in case of very intensive use and every 6 months (W).

- The aspirator is plugged into an electrical outlet with a grounded plug.
