Frequently Asked Questions - ECOUTE-BEBE EXPERT CARE BABYMOOV

What is the range of the Baby monitor Expert Care?
The range is 1000 meters in open space. Indoors, it can be reduced by walls and metal obstacles.
How to change the channel to avoid interference?
On the transmitter and receiver, open the battery compartment, remove the batteries, then use a pointed object to select the channel (position CH1 or CH2). Then set the numeric code using the 3 buttons (possible combinations: 001, 100, 101, 111). Make sure the settings are identical on both devices.
What to do if the 'out of range' alarm triggers for no reason?
First check that the transmitter and receiver are on the same channel and same numeric code. If the transmitter batteries are low, replace them. Also move the receiver closer to the transmitter. If the problem persists, switch to another channel to avoid interference.
How to adjust the microphone sensitivity of the transmitter?
Use button (2) under the transmitter. Push up to increase sensitivity, down to decrease. There are 5 levels available. A setting too low may not pick up crying; too high may trigger unwanted transmissions.
How to activate the nightlight in VOX mode?
Briefly press button (5) on the transmitter. The nightlight will turn on automatically with each detected sound and turn off in silence. For a continuous nightlight, set switch (6) to the continuous nightlight position.
How long does it take to charge the receiver battery?
The average charging time is about 3 hours. During charging, the indicator is red; it turns green when the battery is full. To extend battery life, wait until it is completely discharged before recharging.
Why is the transmitter battery life short?
The most common cause is that the nightlight stays on permanently. To save batteries, set the nightlight to voice activation (VOX) or turn it off. Use the included mains adapter for unlimited autonomy.
How to use the vibration alarm?
Set switch (14) on the receiver to the vibration position. The vibration indicator (11) lights up. The vibrator activates when the baby cries. To save battery, it is recommended not to use this function permanently.
What to do if the transmitter does not transmit sound?
First check that the microphone sensitivity is not too low (increase it). Make sure the transmitter batteries are in good condition or plug in the mains adapter. Also check that transmitter and receiver are on the same channel.
Can I leave the receiver charging permanently?
Yes, the charging base automatically detects the battery level and restarts charging if necessary. You can leave the receiver on its base continuously. However, to optimize battery life, let it discharge completely from time to time.

  • Set the power ON/OFF switch (14) to ON position to turn on the unit. The power on indicator (7) will light up steady green.
  • Place the receiver at a reasonable distance away from the transmitter to avoid feedback. Too close a distance will create a screeching sound.
  • Once the unit receives a signal from the transmitter, the LED of the visual level meter (9) light up. The louder the baby's voice, the more number of LED will be lighted up.
  • The loudspeaker volume can be adjusted by using buttons (10) and (13). Each time you press on one of these buttons, you will hear a "beep" whose volume corresponds to the level you have just selected. If you press button 10 to its lowest level, you will no longer hear a beep which means that your receiver is in mute mode.

  • This unit is equipped with a vibrating alert. Set the power ON/OFF switch (14) to position 0, the vibration indicator (11) will light up. Once the received baby's voice is loud enough, the vibrator starts functioning. To save battery power, it is recommended not to use the vibrating alert frequently.

  • Once the receiver is beyond the communication range of the transmitter for over 2 minutes, an out-of-range alarm will be heard and the LED level meter (9) starts flashing. The alarm will go off only when the receiver falls back within the communication range of transmitter.

N.B.: This alarm will also be heard in case the transmitter is switched off, or its battery has run down, or its power is cut off, or the channel/digital code setting is different between the transmitter and receiver.
- The condition of the rechargeable battery pack is shown by the Battery Low indicator "Power" (7). When

the battery power is being consumed, the indicator starts flashing and an alarm can be heard.
