USER MANUAL HSC 100 OC AKG
The HSC 100 SR/OC is a versatile, featherweight headset with a condenser microphone and dynamic microphone. With its figure eight pickup pattern and frequency response optimized for speech pickup, the microphone ensures excellent rejection of ambient noise. The microphone has been designed for insertion into the left or right ear for optimum intelligibility and comfort.
2. Precautions
- Do not spill any liquids on the equipment.
- Do not place the equipment near heat sources such as radiators or heating ducts and do not expose it to direct sunlight, excessive dust, moisture, rain, mechanical vibrations, or shock.
3.Use
The HSC 100 SR/OC has been designed for "standard size" ears. If your ears are larger, fix the supplied foam ear cushion on the microphone for better fit and comfort. Try the microphone on with and without the foam ear cushion to find out which way it fits better and more comfortably.
Insert the earphone into your left or right ear such that the microphone arm points toward the corner of your mouth. If you use the headset out of doors slip the supplied windscreen on the microphone in order to prevent unwanted wind noise.
To take the weight of the cable off the headset, use the cable clip to attach the cable, e.g., to the collar.
4. Cable
The HSC 100 SR/OC uses an unterminated cable. The microphone and earphone wires are color coded as follows:
Microphone
| Red: | audio and supply voltage (1.5 V to 10 V) |
| Shield: | ground |
Earphone
| White: | audio |
