Frequently Asked Questions - ACS 150 ET ALPATEC

How to install the ALPATEC ACS 150 ET air conditioner correctly?
Place the indoor unit near a window or door, and pass the connection and outdoor unit through this opening. Leave at least 50 cm clearance around the appliance. The outdoor unit can be placed on the ground or mounted on the wall using the supplied brackets. Ensure a maximum height difference of 1.6 m between the two units for condensate drainage.
What are the available operating modes?
The appliance offers two modes: air conditioning (cooling) and dehumidification. You can switch between modes using the MODE button on the control panel or remote control.
How to adjust the temperature and fan speed?
Use the ▲ and ▼ buttons to increase or decrease the set temperature in 1°C increments. The fan speed can be set to automatic, high, medium, or low using the SPEED button. In automatic mode, the speed adapts to the difference between the ambient temperature and the set temperature.
How to use the timer function?
For delayed start: press the TIMER button when the appliance is off, then select the desired time. For delayed stop: press the button while the appliance is running and set the time. The appliance will turn on or off automatically after the programmed delay.
What to do if the screen displays 'E7' or 'E1'?
Code 'E7' indicates the water tank is full: empty it via the drain plug or use continuous drainage. Code 'E1' indicates a damaged sensor: contact an authorized repairer.
How often should the air filter be cleaned?
It is recommended to clean the dust filter every two months. Remove the filter located at the back of the appliance, clean it with a vacuum cleaner or damp cloth, then dry it thoroughly before reinstalling.
The air conditioner does not produce cold air, what to check?
First check that the ambient temperature is higher than the set temperature. If the evaporator is frozen, stop the appliance and let it defrost. Also ensure the filter is not clogged and the air inlets/outlets are clear.
What are the essential safety precautions?
Always plug the appliance into a grounded outlet. Never use without filter, do not obstruct the grilles, and avoid placing the appliance near a heat source or in a humid room. Unplug it before any cleaning. Have repairs carried out by an authorized professional.
How to use the remote control?
Insert two batteries respecting polarity. The buttons allow you to turn on/off (5), select mode (3), adjust temperature (4), activate night mode (6), set a timer (7), and choose fan speed (8, 9, 10, 11). The appliance can also be controlled from the control panel.
