USER MANUAL ONTARIO HAUCK

INSTRUÇÕES DE USO I WARNING LABELS AND POINTS THAT NEED TO BE OBSERVED GB Read these instructions carefully before use and keep them for future reference. Your child’s safety may be affected if you do not follow these instructions.

1. This pushchair is meant for 1 child from 0 months upwards, weighting up to 15kg The maximum load on this pushchair may not exceed 15kg. 2. WARNING: It may be dangerous to leave your child unattended. 3. WARNING: Keep all plastic packaging materials out of the reach of children, in order to avoid any risk of suffocation. 4. WARNING: Before use, make sure that all catches are secured. 5. WARNING: Use a harness as soon as your child can sit unaided. 6. WARNING: Always use the crotch strap in combination with the waist belt. 7. WARNING: Any load attached to the handle affects the stability of the pushchair. 8. WARNING: Always use the parking brake when parking the pushchair and during the loading and unloading of your child. 9. WARNING .Ensure that all locking devices are engaged before use. 10.WARNING: Remember that small parts can be swallowed by your child and can cause choking. 11.WARNING: Overloading, incorrect folding and use of non-approved accessories may damage or break this pushchair. 12.WARNING: It may be unsafe to use accessories, e.g. child seats, bag hooks, rain cover etc., unless those approved by the manufacturer or distributor. 13.WARNING: It may be unsafe to use replacement parts other than those supplied or approved by the manufacturer or distributor. 14.WARNING: Do not add a mattress into the pushchair. 15.Warning: Check that the pram body or seat unit attachment devices are correctly engaged before use. 16.Please use only original hauck accessories and original hauck spare parts. 17.Avoid extreme usage situations that restrict your control over the child and the pushchair. 18.WARNING: This product is not suitable for jogging or skating. 19.Do not ride on any escalators or stairs, and be careful using in the elevator while your child is in the pushchair. 20.Only use the space allowed for loading and do not exceed the maximum permitted weight of 15kg. 21.This pushchair is only designed for transporting 1 child at a time. 22.Please make sure that the child’s hands are nowhere near the folding area, so as not to risk them from being crashed if you have to fold up, unfold, or otherwise change the pushchair or parts of it. 23. The maximum loading weight of the basket is 3 kg. 24.Do not use the handle / reversible handle to carry the pushchair. 25.It is not allowed to step onto the footrest / leg rest to get into the pushchair. 26.It is not allowed to use an additional platform. (e.g. Kiddy - Board) 27.WARNING: The vertical sitting position is not suitable for babies younger than 6 months. 28.WARNING: Before use, check that the mounted cot or the seat unit has latched in properly. GB INSTRUCTION OF USE PART LIST Please check the list of parts to ensure that all parts have been delivered:

Stroller main frame with Seat unit • 1 canopy • 1 front bar • 4 wheels • 2 wheel axles 1. UNFOLDING ( FIG. 1) Release the transportation-lock. Open the stroller by grabbing the handle up until both side catches are engaged. 2. FRONT & REAR WHEELS ASSEMBLY (FIG. 2A-2C) The assembly of the front & rear wheels are the same: Slide the wheel axle through the 2 rear legs (2a). Push the wheels onto the axle, the wheel is locked when you hear a click sound (2b). Check the wheels are securely installed before use. When changing the wheel, press the button and pull the wheel out (2c). Attention: If this stroller comes with pneumatic tires, please check the air pressure. You can pump the pneumatic tires with a tire pump. The tire pressure must not exceed 2.0 bar (28 PSI). 3. BRAKE (FIG. 3) You can press either the front wheel brake or rear wheel brake to stop the stroller. Press the brake down by foot to stop the stroller and push the stroller to check. Attention: Always apply brake(s) when parking the stroller. 4. ADJUSTING THE BACK REST (FIG. 4) Pull the metal handle at the back of the backrest upwards and adjust the backrest to the desired position. The backrest can be altered to 3 different positions. 5. ADJUSTING THE LEG REST (FIG. 5) Press both (left & right) buttons to bring the leg rest to the desired position. 6. ADJUSTING THE HANDLES (FIG.6) Press both (left & right) buttons on the handle and bring the handle height to the desired position. 7. INSTALL THE FRONTBAR (FIG. 7A-7C) Install the front bar by fixing it onto the 2 sides of the catches (7a). Test the front bar by pulling on it to make sure it is locked to place. To release the front bar, release the clip at the catches and pull the front bar out (7b). The front bar can also be adjusted to the desired position by pressing the buttons on both sides (7c). 8. REVERSING THE HANDLE (FIG. 8A-8C) Pull both plastic catches (left & right) upwards to release the handle position (8a). Release the 2nd safety lock (8b) and then swivel the handle to the opposite direction (8c). Please always check if the handle has engaged in the new position completely. Front & rear wheels must be additionally secured with both of the parking brakes when parking the stroller, if the handle is in the position facing towards the child. 9. ASSEMBLE THE CANOPY (FIG.9) Insert the canopy plastic clamps into the housings on the 2 sides of the seat. 10. FOLDING AWAY (FIG. 10A-10D) Make sure the handle is at the canopy side, and the backrest is in the lie down position. Fold the canopy backward. Press the 2 nd lock button down first (10a), then pull the folding levers, on both sides, upwards (10b), push the handle bar to the front and let the stroller collapse (10c). Ensure the stroller is closed by the transportation lock on the side of the frame (10d). 11. SECURE THE CHILD IN THE SEAT (fig 11): Place the child in the seat and push the clips on the waist belt into the buckle on the crotch belt (the one that comes between the child’s legs). Adjust the length of the belt to your child’s needs. Always ensure the straps are not twisted or caught on the stroller frame. Check the adjustment every time you place the child in the seat and when the backrest is reclined. To release the harness, squeeze & open the buckle. Harness adjustment: Insert both fasteners (B) into the buckle (A), ensure that both buttons click into position. Ensure both shoulder straps (C) are attached to the fasteners (B). Each strap has its own length adjuster (D). To undo the harness, press the button and pull apart. “D” Rings are provided for fitment of a full safety harness. The attachment points (D-rings) are located on side straps. WARNING: (A child’s safety is your responsibility.) The child should be harnessed in at all times and should never be left unattended. The child should be clear of moving parts while making adjustments. This stroller requires regular maintenance by the user. Attention: Avoid serious injury from failing and sliding out, always use seat belt & always use as instructed. Never use the harness without the shoulder straps. 12. ADJUSTING THE SHOULDER HARNESS (fig. 12) There are 2 shoulder harness heights available in the stroller, use the slot closest to child’s shoulder height.

13. FASTENING THE SOFT CARRY COT (OPTIONAL ACCESSORY) (FIG. 13)

Do not place any additional mattress in the soft carrycot. The soft carrycot should be securely fixed by the attached plastic hooks to the D-ring, which are on the stroller seat. UPKEEP AND MAINTENANCE In General Please check the pushchair functions on a regular basis. Make sure that the frame is stable, the screws are tight, the latching devices are safely locked, the wheels are securely attached and the brakes are in working order. Check the cover occasionally, making sure that the stitching is still firm, and inspect the quality of the plastic parts. Any broken or worn working parts should be replaced immediately. Proceed in the same manner with components that are broken, torn, defect or wornout. Please use only original hauck replacement parts. Do not subject your pushchair to excessive sunshine. This can lead to a fading of textile covers and plastic parts. Cleaning the covers Remove the covers from the frame by loosening the loops, press studs or screws. Please read the instructions on the sewn-in label before cleaning. To clean the cover gently, wipe it down evenly using only a damp cloth. As long as there are no plastic, wood or metal parts on or in the cover, it can be machine-washed at 86°F (30°C) and medium speed. The cover should be air-dried, but not exposed to excessive sunshine. Please do not dry the cover in the drier, to avoid shrinking. Do not re-fit the covers until they are completely dried. Cleaning the frame Dry the pushchair with a soft cloth after cleaning or after use rain or snow. Use only mild soapy water or lukewarm water to clean the frame of your pushchair. Plastic parts can be cleaned with mild detergent cleaners. Wheel maintenance Clean and service the wheels regularly. Apply corrosion or lubricant spray on the rim when necessary, to protect against rust and deposits. Please make sure in winter that road salt residue is removed immediately by using warm water and damp cloth. Remove dirt from the wheels and axles on a regular basis.
