USER MANUAL VT8860 SOLAC

  • Read these instructions carefully before using the appliance and keep them handy for future reference.
  • Check that the voltage on the specifications plate matches the mains voltage in your home.
  • Remove all paper or plastic bags, plastic sheets, cardboard and labels inside or outside of the appliance, which have been used to protect the appliance during transport or during the sale promotion.
  • Do not insert any object inside the grille.
  • Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not put it near a bathtub, shower or swimming pool.
  • While in use, the appliance must be out of the reach of children, animals and disabled persons. If the appliance is used in their presence, keep a watchful eye on such operations.
  • The appliance is destined solely for home use; it may not be used for industrial purposes.
  • Do not use the appliance if it does not work properly or if the power cable is damaged; take it to a Specialised Technical Service Centre.
  • Keep the appliance at least 50cm from any other object.
  • Before turning on the appliance, check that it is on a stable surface and placed on its base.

3 CHARGING THE BATTERY

Charge the appliance before using it for the first time. (Charging is not necessary if the appliance is used while connected to the mains)
Recharge the appliance after use and make sure that the 0 position is selected while not in use.

1 To charge the battery, connect the appliance to the mains, select the DC position on the electrical current selector (4) and the 0 position on the speed selector (5). The charge indicator light comes on to confirm that the appliance is charging (Fig. 1).
2 Maximum charge is obtained after approximately 20-24 hours of charging. Once the appliance is charged, it will run for 3 to 5 hours depending on whether it is used at maximum speed or not (lower autonomy at higher speeds). The autonomy may last longer than 6 hours if you select the slowest speed and the swing function is not used.

4 OPERATION

1 When using the appliance connected to the mains, select the AC option on the electrical current selector (4) and options 1 or 2 on the speed selector (5) depending on the air flow preferred.
2 When using the appliance while it is not connected to the mains, select the DC option on the electrical current selector (4) and options 1 or 2 on the speed selector (5) depending on the air flow preferred.
3 To select the swing function, push the swing selector (8) to the left (Fig. 2). To stop the swing function, push the swing selector (8) to the right.

5 CHANGING THE BATTERY

  • Unscrew the 4 screws on the battery access door (10), remove the battery and replace it with a new 6V4.5AH battery. Screw on the battery access door again.

6 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

A Your appliance must be disconnected from the mains before any cleaning operation is performed. As well as disconnecting the appliance from the mains, make sure that the appliance is set at 0.

  • Clean it with a slightly damp cloth. When cleaning the blades, unscrew the screw that fixes both grilles and tighten it again after the cleaning operation has been carried out. (Fig. 3).
  • Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners to clean the device, since they could damage its plastic parts.

3 PUNJENJE BATERIJE

Napunite aparat prise prve uporabe. (Punjenje nije nužno kada aparat koristite dok je prikljucen na elektricnu mrežu).
Nakon uporabe ponovno napunite aparat. Kada ga ne koristite, aparat mora biti u položaju 0.

1 Da biste napunili bateriju, priključite aparat na elektrichi nu mrežu, namjestite gumb za odabir napona (4) na DC i pomaknite regulator brzine (5) u položaj 0. Punjenje je potvrženo uključivanjem kontrolne lampice napunjenosti (slika 1).

4 RAD

1 Kada koristite aparat koji je priključen na elektrichnu mrežu, namjestite gumb za odabir napona (4) na AC, a regulator brzine (5) na 1 ili 2, ovisno o Željenom strujanju zraka.
2 Kada koristite aparat koji nods prikljuchen na elektrichnu mrezu, namjestite gumb za odabir napona (4) na DC, a regulator brzine (5) na 1 ili 2, ovisno o zeilenom strujanju zraka.
3 Za odabir funkcjie zakretanja, gurnite regulator zakretanja (8) ulijevo (slika 2). Za zaustavljanje funkcjie zakretanja, gurnite regulator zakretanja (8) udesno.

5 ZAMJENA BATERIJE

  • Odvrnite 4 vijka na vratima odjeljka za baterije (10), izvadite bateriju i zamijenite ju s novom 6 V 4,5 AH baterijom. Vijcima ponovno pričvrstite vrata odjeljka za baterije.

6 CIscENJE I ODRZAVANJE

A Prije cisćenja iskligüčite aparat iz elektricne mreze. Pored iskligücenja iz elektricne mreze, aparat treba bitu u položaju 0.
