How to assemble the SOLAC VT8810 fan?

Insert the motor shaft into the base and secure with the fixing screw. Then, remove the cap and ring, place the rear grille on the shaft aligning the protrusions, then secure with the ring. Insert the blades and tighten the cap. Mount the front grille into the assembly ring and screw in the safety screw.

How to use the different speeds?

Turn the speed regulator to select the desired setting. The VT8810 model offers three speeds. To stop the fan, set the regulator to position 0.

How to activate oscillation?

Press the oscillation button (control 10) to activate the left-right movement. To stop oscillation, gently pull the control. To reactivate, press again.

How to tilt the fan vertically?

Gently press the upper part of the motor shaft forward or backward to adjust the tilt up to 45°.

How to clean the fan?

Unplug the appliance before cleaning. Use a slightly damp cloth to wipe the surfaces. Never immerse the appliance in water and avoid drops entering the motor. Do not use solvents or abrasive products.

What to do if the fan does not work?

Check that the appliance is plugged in and the speed regulator is not on 0. Ensure the power cord is not damaged. If the problem persists, contact an authorized Technical Service.

The fan is making noise, is this normal?

A slight operating noise is normal. If the noise becomes abnormal, check that the blades are properly secured and that nothing is obstructing the grilles. Improper assembly may cause vibrations.

• Read these instructions carefully before using your appliance, and keep them for future reference.

ASSEMBLY

1. Fit the motor shaft (7) into the base (13) (Fig. 1) and join both parts using the base attachment screw (14) (Fig. 2)
2. Unscrew and remove the hood (2) and ring (4) from the motor shaft (7), and also remove the shaft protector (5).
3. Fit the rear grille (6) over the shaft (7) so that the projections on the motor shaft coincide with the orifices on the rear grille (6) (Fig. 3). Fix the grille to the shaft using the ring (4), tightening it in a clockwise direction.
4. Insert the blades (3) and lock them in place by turning the hood (2) anticlockwise (Fig. 4). Check that they turn correctly.
5. Mount the front grille (1) using the guide on the connecting ring (8). You will hear a "click". Proceed to tighten the safety screw (9). (Fig. 5)

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

• Turn the regulator control to select the desired speed. The VT8805 model has 2 speed settings, while the VT8810 and VT8815 models have 3 speed settings.
• The fan can be turned off by turning the regulator control to position 0.
• The fan will oscillate automatically when the button (10) is pressed; pull the oscillation button (10) gently to stop the oscillation. To resume the oscillating function, simply press this button again.
• The fan may also be inclined at an angle of 45^ to the vertical. Adjust this inclination pressing gently on the upper part of the motor shaft (7), forwards or backwards.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

- Your appliance must be disconnected from the mains before any cleaning operation is performed.

• Clean with a slightly damp cloth.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. Check that no drops of liquid enter the motor area.
• Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners to clean the device, since they could damage its plastic parts.
• When the appliance is not in use it should be kept in a damp-proof location.
