Read these instructions thoroughly before using the device. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- Remove the product and its parts from the packaging. Bags may cause asphyxia; keep away from children or pets.
- Do not use the appliance if your pets do not reach the fountain or if they have a physical disability.
- Unplug the fountain every time you handle it.
- If the cable or plug of the water fountain is damaged, the appliance must not be used.
- Do not disassemble the product beyond what is indicated in this manual.
- The water fountain must not be used outdoors.
- The mains plug of the power cord must be removed from the base before cleaning or maintenance operations.
- Do not use the product if it is malfunctioning or damaged. Do not attempt to repair this product yourself, please contact the Technical Support Service.
- Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.
- Do not allow pets to chew or swallow any part of the product. To avoid problems, you can pass the cable through a resistant conduit.
- Do not immerse the product in water as this may damage the electronic components.
- If the pump runs dry, the fountain may be damaged. If care is not taken, the warranty will expire.

Make sure that the pump always runs with water. Clean the pump once a week.

Change the water every 2 to 3 days (depending on the amount of water your pet drinks). Fill the fountain with water up to the indicated mark (maximum amount of water).
- Make sure the plug is not wet. The power socket should be located higher than the location of the water fountain.
- Ensure that the fountain is placed on a level and stable surface to prevent it from falling or tipping over.
- Do not use this product for anything for which it was not intended or designed.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the device.
- This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
- Do not install or store this product in locations that are exposed to precipitation and/or temperatures below 4 °C.
- Do not attempt to repair the pump motor yourself.
- Do not put any liquid, other than clean water, inside the product.
- If the fountain has been idle for an extended period of time, inspect the cord and plug before reuse to ensure that there is no damage.
- Do not use harsh detergents or chemicals to clean the water fountain as they may damage the materials, compromising the safety of you and your pet.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION

- Remove the charcoal filter and clean it with clean water several times before installation. It is recommended to change the filter once every 1-2 months. Fig. 6
- This type of filter is similar to domestic water filters. To ensure proper filter operation and water quality, it is recommended to clean the filter at least once a week and change it once every 1-2 months depending on usage and water hardness.
- Remove the tray and install the fountain as shown below. Fig. 7
- Add a moderate amount of water to the pet fountain and ensure that the water level remains between the "Min" and "Max" marks. Once the water has been added, place the tray back in the drinker. Fig. 8.
- Connect the water fountain cable to the AC adapter and plug it into the mains. Your pet can now enjoy much healthier, cleaner and fresher water. Like mobile phones, the pet fountain uses a voltage that is safe for both humans and animals. As a low-energy model, the pet fountain consumes less than 2 kW per month, even though it operates 24 hours a day.

- It is normal for the AC adapter to get hot. This will not affect the operation and safety of the drinking fountain.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before cleaning the water tank and other parts, remove the water outlet accessory, lift the pet fountain tray as shown in the picture, and then remove the water pump. It is recommended to clean the pet fountain once a week. Position the LED light and water pump as shown in the picture. Pay attention to the position of the cable.

The pump is positioned vertically, with the cable outside the tank.

Internal cleaning of the water pump: remove the pump protection cover, the tightening piece, the impeller cover, and the impeller, in that order. Clean out any debris and hairs that may be in the pump motor chamber. It is recommended to clean the water pump once a week.

- Remove the black sponge from the filter (it is recommended to change it every 1-2 weeks). Fig.12
- Remove the diverter valve. Fig. 13
- Use the ring at the end of the brush to remove the impeller. Fig.14
- Use a small brush to clean the pump motor chamber and clean out any debris. Fig.15
- Use a brush to clean the water pump parts. Fig.16
WARNING: add water immediately when you notice that the water level in the fountain is below the height of the pump, otherwise a malfunction may occur.
NOTE: do not let the pump run if there is no water in the tank. Warning: the warranty does not cover damage to the pump caused by operating it with an empty tank.
- Keep the AC adapter out of your pet's reach to prevent chewing.
- The pet fountain is designed exclusively for indoor use. Unplug the power cable from the mains and AC adapter before cleaning the drinker. Warning: do not clean or immerse the AC adapter in water.
- Do not use any AC adapter other than the official AC adapter. Keep the pet fountain as far away from the power outlet as possible and place the AC adapter in a higher area to prevent it from getting wet.
5. TROUBLESHOOTING

1. Why is the water pump making more noise than usual?
R 1. Water level is too low, add water to the tank.
- There is debris on or around the impeller, disassemble the pump and clean it.
- The water pump is running with an empty tank.
2. How often does the pet fountain have to be cleaned?
R It is recommended to clean the pet fountain once a week. Do not use cleaning products to clean it. Instead, wipe with a cloth and clean water.
3. Is it normal for the AC adapter to be a little warm after the fountain has been running for 24 hours?
R It is completely normal for the AC adapter to get hot. This will not affect the operation and safety of the drinking fountain.
4. Is it safe to run the water pump for a long time? Does it consume a lot of energy?
R Like mobile phones, the pet fountain uses a voltage that is safe for both humans and animals. As a low-energy model, the pet fountain consumes less than 2 kW per month, even though it operates 24 hours a day.
5. What is the pet fountain made of? What materials is the filter made of? How long can it be used?
R The fountain is made of food-grade ABS plastic that meets US and German safety criteria. The filter is made of food grade materials similar to domestic water filters. It is recommended to change the filter once every 1-2 months.
