Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this

instruction manual for future reference or new users.

• Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the rating label of the appliance and that the wall outlet is grounded.

• This product is designed for household use only. Do not use it for industrial or commercial purposes.

• CAUTION: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs,

• Do not immerse the cord, plug or any non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid, nor expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are completely dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.

• Do not use the device if its cord or any other part is damaged. In this case, contact the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.

• Keep all packaging materials away from children. Risk of suffocation.
• This appliance must be frequently checked for signs of wear or damage. If such signs are present, or if the appliance has been used improperly, contact the official Technical Support
  Service of Cecotec. Do not try to repair the device by yourself.
• Switch off the device immediately in the event of defects or malfunctions.
• Do not use accessories or parts that have not been provided by Cecotec.
• Do not leave the product unsupervised during operation.
• Do not use it on animals.

• Keep the device away from heat sources.

• Do not use an extension cord with this appliance.

• The device may reach high temperatures during use, avoid contact with eyes and bare skin.
• Do not use outdoors or near sprays.
• Do not cover the appliance with any object during use and do not expose the power cord to the hot part of the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance if you used

hair mousse, spray or hair gel.

• Do not place the appliance directly on any non-heatproof surfaces while plugged in or operating.
• The appliance barrel may get stains if it is used on dyed hairs.
• If the appliance falls into water, unplug it immediately. Do not reach into the water!
• This product may not be used by children under 8 years of age or

by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge. Supervise children, as they shall not play with the appliance.

INSTRUCTIONS DE SÉCURITÉ

• Take the product out of the box.
• Remove all packaging material. Save the original box.
• Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If any visible signs of damage are observed, contact the Cecotec official Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION

• Make sure your hair is clean and completely dry before using the device.
• Brush and comb your hair before using the curling iron.
• Plug the device into an AC socket and press the power button.
• The heating barrel will then heat up quickly.
• Do not leave the product unsupervised while it is switched on.
• Select the temperature between 130 °C and 230 °C on the display by turning the knob, depending on the thickness of your hair.
• Generally, the finer the hair, the lower the temperature should be set and vice-versa. It is suggested to use 130 °C, 150 °C or

170 °C for fine hair, 190 °C and 210 °C for normal hair and 230 °C for thick hair. Once the temperature has been selected, wait a few seconds until the selected temperature stops blinking.

• Press the time button and turn the knob to adjust the curling time from 3 to 12 seconds. Press the button again to confirm the time or wait a few seconds until the clock symbol on the display is steady.
• To use the device, introduce a 1-3 cm hair section in the opening.
• Press the rotation button to the right when curling the right side of your hair, and vice-versa. Hold down the button until the curling iron completely stops.

ENGLISH

• If the curling barrel stops due to blockage, the LCD display will show Err2. In such case, remove the hair and press the power button to use the device again.
• After a beep, the rotating tip will stop and the curling time countdown will begin.
• 3 beeps will indicate that the selected time has been reached.
• Repeat this process with all the hair sections you wish to curl.
• Hold down the power button for a few seconds to turn it off. The LCD display will show OFF and the heater will stop working.

Warning

- This device includes an auto-off function which is activated after 60 minutes of inactivity.

• The device has an anti-tangle safety system. If you release the rotation button before the barrel completely stops, the device will not allow you to curl your hair in the other direction.
  To unlock it, hold down the rotation button in the unlocking direction until the barrel completely stops, allow the curling countdown to end and, after three beeps, the curling iron will be active on both directions.
• Unplug and store the device after using it.

Warning

The device reaches high temperatures in seconds. It takes longer to lower the temperature.

List of errors

Error	Possible cause	Possible solution
Err.1	NTC error or excessive temperature.	Turn off and unplug the device. Allow it to cool down. If the error persists, contact the Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
Err.2	The curling barrel has stopped working due to a blockage.	Check that there is not too much hair in the device or any other object that might be blocking it.
Err.4	The motor has stopped spinning or spins constantly.	Please, contact our Technical Support Service.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Turn the device off, disconnect it from the power supply and allow it to cool down completely.
• Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the product surface.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid or place it under running water.
• Do not use abrasive scouring pads, powders or cleaners.
