2. BEFORE USE

  • This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
  • Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.
  • Do not remove the serial number of the appliance in order to keep a correct traceability of it in case of assistance.

3. OPERATION

Switching on the brush

  1. Unwind the power cord and plug it into a power socket. Then switch on the brush by turning the mode knob.
  2. If you select the ⏻ mode, the brush will blow out cold air.

ENGLISH

  1. If you select the ⚪ mode, the heating plates will be activated, and the brush will blow out hot air.
  2. If you select the mode, the heating plates will be activated (in this case the brush will not blow out hot air).

Note: The indicator light will come on when the heating plates are activated.

Charging the brush

When you have finished using the brush, turn the mode knob to the off position.

Operation

Hair drying tips

  1. Shampoo and towel dry your hair to remove excess moisture and divide it into different sections.
  2. Blow dry the roots with a hair dryer before using the brush.
  3. Plug the brush into a power socket and select the air + heating plate mode.
  4. Take a strand of hair and run the air part of the brush from the roots to the ends, always directing the air towards the hair, not the scalp.
  5. To avoid over-drying, do not concentrate heat on a single section of hair for too long. Move the brush while in use.
  6. When the hair is dry, pass the heating plate part over the hair to straighten it.
  7. When finished, select the airless heating plate mode for a more polished result.

WARNING: Keep the air inlet grille of the brush clean and free of obstructions.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Note: Before carrying out any of the following tasks, make sure that the brush is unplugged from the mains.

  1. Remove any hair residue or dirt trapped between the bristles using a comb or small brush.
  2. Gently wipe the ceramic barrel and bristles with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use chemicals or harsh cleaning products that may damage the ceramic surface.
  3. Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the surface of the appliance. Use a soft brush or a cotton swab to clean the air inlet.
  4. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
  5. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean the appliance.
  6. Do not twist, bend, pull, or damage the power cord.
  7. Clean the dirt and hairs that may be clogging the device.

Storage

  • Store the brush in a dry place protected from dust.
  • Avoid wrapping the power cord around the brush, as this may damage the appliance.
