Read the following instructions carefully before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

• All safety instructions must be closely followed when using the appliance.
• WARNING: incorrect or improper use can be dangerous for both the user and the appliance. Use the appliance only for the purposes described in this manual.
• Be careful when handling the blender blades, especially when changing accessories, cleaning and emptying the jug.
• The appliance is not intended to be used by children. Keep this appliance and its power cord out of their reach.
• This appliance can be used by people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or a lack of experience and/or knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
• Do not let children play with the appliance.
• Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the product's rating label and that the plug is earthed.
• This appliance is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for use in bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels and offices.

• Do not immerse the power cord, plug or any other part of the appliance in water or any other liquid. Be careful when hot liquid is poured into the food processor or blender, as it may be ejected from the appliance due to sudden steaming. Never expose the electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are completely dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.

• Unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts, and before cleaning.

• Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the cord is damaged, it must be repaired by Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service to avoid any danger.
• Do not use the product outdoors, close to electric plates, gas, flames, or inside an oven.
• Do not twist, bend, pull, or damage the power cord. Protect it from sharp edges and heat sources. Never let the power cord come into contact with hot surfaces. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the working surface or worktop.
• Do not plug the appliance into the power supply until it is fully assembled and make sure it is unplugged before disassembling the appliance or handling its blade.
• Switch off the appliance before changing accessories or approaching parts that move during operation.
• WARNING: Always use the power supply unit provided with the appliance. The use of other units may be hazardous.
• Do not use the hand blender to process hot food.
• Do not insert utensils into the product during operation to reduce the risk of splashing or injury. Please handle it with care.

Battery instructions

• The appliance includes a Li-ion battery. Do not incinerate or expose it to high temperatures, as it may explode.

• Batteries may leak under extreme conditions. Should that be the case, do not touch the liquid. If the liquid comes into contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, rinse them immediately with clean water for at least 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves when handling the battery and dispose of it immediately in accordance with local regulations.

• Avoid contact between batteries and small metal objects such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails, or screws.

• Never modify the battery in any way.
• Batteries must be removed from the appliance for safe disposal.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children if they can be swallowed.
• Battery ingestion can cause burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death. It can cause severe burns within two hours of the ingestion.
• In case of battery ingestion, please seek medical help immediately.
• WARNING: to recharge the battery, use only the charging base supplied with the appliance.
• Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged.
• The batteries' supply terminals must not be short-circuited.
• If the appliance is to be stored for a long period of time, it is recommended to remove the battery.
• Batteries must be inserted in the correct position. Check polarity when replacing them.

DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES

This symbol indicates that, according to the applicable regulations, the product and/or battery must be disposed of separately from household waste. When this product reaches the end of its service life, you must remove the batteries/accumulators and take it to a collection point designated by local authorities.

and electronic equipment and/or the corresponding batteries, consumers should contact their local authorities.
