How to use the Turbo function?

The Turbo function allows short use at very high speed. Press the Turbo button (3b) intermittently for Pulse operation. Caution: do not use for more than one minute.

How to clean the CLATRONIC HMS 2477 food processor?

Unplug the appliance before any cleaning. Clean the body with a dry cloth. The accessories (bowl, dough hook, whisk, blending arm) can be washed in soapy water as usual. Never immerse the appliance in water.

Can I blend hot ingredients?

The manual does not recommend blending hot liquids. For safety reasons, it is better to let food cool before blending. The bowl is plastic and may not withstand heat.

How to detach the dough hook or whisk?

First set the speed selector to 0 and unplug the appliance. Push the orange button (2) to release the accessory, then pull gently to remove it from its opening.

What is the required power supply voltage?

The appliance operates on a mains socket of 230 V ~ 50 Hz. Make sure your installation voltage matches.

How to install the blender support?

Push the mounting hole cover upward, place the blender (1) on the upper part of the support (4) and pull back until it clicks. Attach the mixing bowl by pressing the release button (6) and lower the blender down.

What to do if the appliance does not turn on?

First check that the appliance is properly plugged in and the speed selector is not set to 0. If the problem persists, unplug the appliance and contact an authorized service center. Do not attempt to repair it yourself.

Can I use the appliance unattended?

• Always remove the plug from the socket whenever the device is not in use, when attaching accessory parts, cleaning the device or whenever a disturbance occurs. Switch off the device beforehand. Pull on the plug, not on the cable.

Turbo operation

This is for switching to maximum speed for a short time. Press at short intervals for pulsed mode operation.

How to use the Beater

1. Position the speed regulator on 0/AUS (3) and make sure that the mixer (1) is not connected to the mains.
2. Remove the mounting slot cover by pulling it upwards.
3. Mount the beater (9).
4. Insert the plug into a 230V/50Hz socket.
5. Insert the beater into a high and partly filled bowl.
6. Activate Turbo-speed by pushing forward the speed regulator (3). Move the beater around gently.

How to use the Kneader hooks/beater

1. Position the speed regulator on 0/AUS (3) and make sure that the mixer (1) is not connected to the mains.
2. Press the end of the kneader hooks/beater (10) into the corresponding mixer openings until the hooks click into place. While pressing, turn slightly in order to facilitate the whole operation.
3. Insert the plug into a 230V/50Hz socket.
4. The handmixer (1) can be used at various speeds set with the speed regulator (3).
5. When removing the kneader hooks/beater (10), position the speed regulator on 0/AUS and make sure that the mixer is not connected to the mains.
6. Press the orange button (2) to release the kneader hooks/beater. Remove the device by turning it slightly.

How to use the Mixer stand

1. Remove the mounting slot cover by pulling it upwards.
2. Then place the handmixer on the upper part (5) of the mixer stand (4) and push it back until the slot on the lower part of the mixer is locked onto the pin of the upper part (5) of the mixer stand.
3. Mount the hooks as described above in the section "How to use the Kneader hooks/beater".
4. In order to place the mixer bowl (8) below the mixer, press the button for the release of the upper part of the mixer stand (5) and lift the mixer.
5. Place the mixer bowl filled with the desired ingredients onto the revolving plate (7). Press the button for the release of the upper part of the mixer stand (5) and lower the mixer.
6. Insert the plug into a 230V/50Hz socket.

1. The handmixer (1) can be used at various speeds set with the speed regulator (3).
2. Once you have finished, press once again the button for the release of the upper part of the mixer stand (5) and lift the mixer.
3. Now the mixer bowl can be removed. Remove the hooks as described above in the section "How to use the Kneader hooks/beater".
4. In order to remove the mixer from the upper part of the mixer stand, pull the mixer upwards and then to the front.

Cleaning

• Disconnect the machine from the mains.
  Clean the machine after use with a dry cloth.
  Clean the equipment in the usual way in soapy water.
