General Use
- Insert the plug in a duly installed 230V/50Hz socket. The red LED lights up. After approximately 5 minutes the device is ready to use.
- The device must be used only for dry hair. Take a strand of hair and pull it carefully downwards until it is taut. The remaining hair should be put up or fixed in place. Before the halves are pressed together for approx. 5 seconds, we recommend that you ensure that the hair is positioned correctly. Always begin at the base of the hair and move the device in the direction of the hair tip. In order to produce a uniform appearance it is important that the next strands fall in one line. To ensure that the waves are retained for a prolonged period we recommend that you use only a coarse comb or your fingers.
- Leave the appliance to cool before changing the accessories! Mount the accessories in pairs on the heating surfaces (2 for large hair waves, 2 for small hair waves or 2 for smooth hair) to avoid damaging hair!
- Please remove the mains plug after use. Leave it cool for a few minutes before putting it away.
Styling Tips
In order to achieve a pronounced crimping effect, please apply gel or hairspray before using the device (it is possible that the hair will produce a little "steam" or "vapour" - but this is normal). For a loose "permanent wave look" please use thick strands, crimp them with the device for one second and then shake your hair over your head to the front and then to the back again. We do not recommend using the device if your hair is damaged or bleached.
