First Use of the Machine

  • Before using for the first time leave the hot plates switched on for 5 minutes in order to remove the protective layer. This may lead to the development of small quantities of smoke. Ensure sufficient ventilation.

Electrical Connection

  • Ensure that the machine is switched off (all operating switches on "0").
  • Before inserting the mains plug into the socket check whether the voltage which you intend to use corresponds to that of the machine. Please see the label on the machine for details.
  • Only connect the machine to a correctly installed safety socket, 230V / 50Hz .

Operation

Use of the Hot Plates

  • Only use saucepans with a flat bottom in order to make optimum use of the energy (see diagram 1).
  • The saucepan should never be smaller than the hot plate. Otherwise energy will be wasted. In extreme cases the hot plate may deform.
  • The switch of the hot plates makes it possible to finely adjust the heating level to the cooking process (see diagram 2).

Switching-Off

The machine is switched off if all switches are in position "0". Then remove the mains plug.

Cleaning

  • Before cleaning the machine always remove the mains plug and wait until the machine has cooled down.
  • Clean the machine only with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use strong detergents or solvents. Rinsing water is suitable.

Warranty
