Read the following instructions carefully before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- All safety instructions must be closely followed when using the appliance.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
- This appliance is intended for domestic use only and is not suitable for use in commercial establishments such as bars, restaurants, farms, hotels, motels, and offices.
- Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the appliance marking and that the wall outlet is earthed.
- Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the cord is damaged, it must be repaired by Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service to avoid any hazard.
- Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any other non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid or expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are completely dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
- If the appliance falls accidentally into water, unplug it immediately. Do not touch the water!
- Do not operate the appliance if any fault or unusual sign is detected.
- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and other parts of the body away from the openings and moving parts of the appliance.
- Make sure the appliance is placed on a flat and stable surface during operation.
- Do not use the appliance next to windows, as exposure to rain could cause electric shock.
- Do not operate the product under or next to curtains.
- Do not cover the grilles and do not place the product cord under carpets or other objects during operation.
Keep the sides, front, and back of the appliance at a minimum safety distance of 20 cm from any object or wall.
- Always switch off and unplug the appliance from the mains socket when not in use and before moving it to a new location. To unplug the appliance, pull the plug, not the cord.
Instructions on batteries
- Battery ingestion can cause burns, soft-tissue perforation, and death. It can cause severe burns within two hours of the ingestion.
- In case of battery ingestion, please seek medical attention immediately.
- Do not allow children to replace batteries without adult supervision.
- Do not disassemble, open, or damage the batteries.
- Keep the batteries out of the reach of children. Pay particular attention to small batteries. In case of battery ingestion, please seek medical attention immediately.
- Do not expose batteries to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
- Do not short-circuit an element or a battery. Do not store batteries in an untidy manner, in a box, or drawer where they can short-circuit each other or be short-circuited by other metal objects.
- Do not subject batteries to mechanical shock.
- Both batteries and cells can leak under extreme conditions. In the event of a battery leak, keep your
skin and eyes away from the liquid. If the liquid comes into contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, rinse them immediately with clean water for at least 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery and dispose of it immediately in accordance with local regulations.
- Pay attention to the positive (+) and negative (-) marks on the batteries and the remote-control compartment to ensure they are inserted correctly.
- Do not use any batteries that are not designed for use with the appliance.
- Do not use the remote control if powered with batteries that differ in capacity, size, or type.
- Children should be allowed to handle the batteries only under adult supervision.

2. Before use
- This appliance comes in a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Remove the appliance from its box. You can keep the original box and other packaging materials in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, make sure all items are recycled properly.
- Check that all parts and components are included and in good condition. If any of them are missing or damaged, please contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service immediately.

3. Installation
Remove the fan from its packaging. Store the packaging materials in a safe place. Check that the parts included in the box correspond to those listed in this manual.
Then, proceed to assembly it. (Fig. 2)
- Remove the connecting nut from the bottom of the support pole.
- Insert the pole into the hole in the base.
- Tighten the nut to secure the pole to the base.
- Install the upper pole section onto the lower section.
- Install the main unit by rotating it into the upper pole section.

Press briefly to turn left-to-right movement on or off; press and hold for 3 seconds to turn up-and-down movement on or off. The remote control has separate buttons for these functions.
Speed settings
The default speed is "F1" when the fan is switched on. The speed increases by one level with each press up to level 8, then returns to speed 1 with an additional press. Press and hold this button for 3 seconds to turn on the ambient light and press and hold it again for 3 seconds to turn it off. There are separate buttons on the remote control.
Timer
The timer increases by 1 hour with each press up to 12 hours, displaying from "0H", "1H"... to "12" in a cycle. To cancel, set the timer to 0H.
Display
The display shows the fan speed and timer settings. It shows "—" when the fan is switched on.
The display turns off if no operation is performed for 3 minutes and reactivates when any button is pressed.
Aroma function (Fig. 5)
Scent can be added to the logo/aroma panel following these instructions:
- Turn the aroma holder cover in the centre anticlockwise to remove it.
- Add a few drops of aromatic essence to the aroma pad.
- Replace it in the centre of the fan head by turning clockwise.
5. Cleaning and maintenance
- Disconnect the fan from the mains supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
● Never immerse the fan in water or other liquids.
● Clean the fan with a soft, dry cloth. - Do not use chemical cleaning products such as detergents or abrasive cleaners.
- Do not allow condensation to come into contact with the electrical parts of the fan.
- Do not use a damp cloth to clean the motor. Keep the fan clean and dry.
- It is recommended to use a neutral detergent and soft cloth. Do not use solvent liquids, acidic detergents, petrol, alcohol, etc. to clean plastic parts, as they may cause deterioration.
- Do not allow water to enter the motor unit or cable during cleaning of the fan.
● Clean the product at the end of the season before storage.

The power consumption in “off mode” is 0,32 W, measured according to EN 50564:2011 guidelines and European regulations 1275/2008/EC and 801/2013/EC. This measurement was taken with the appliance connected to the mains without performing any function. The appliance switch/knob was set to the “off” position.
