Frequently Asked Questions - Energy Silence 620 Max Flow Smart M CECOTEC

How to install the Cecotec Energy Silence 620 Max Flow Smart M ceiling fan?
Installation must be carried out by a qualified professional. Fix the mounting plate to the ceiling, connect the electrical wires (phase, neutral, ground) according to the supplied diagram, then mount the motor and blades. Ensure safety distances are respected.
How to use the remote control?
The remote control allows you to adjust the speed (3 levels), activate the reverse function for summer/winter, program the timer (1, 2, 4 hours), and turn the fan on/off. Batteries are included.
What to do if the fan does not turn on?
First check the power supply (circuit breaker) and that the wires are correctly connected. Ensure the remote control has working batteries and that there is no infrared reception issue.
How to clean the fan?
Unplug the appliance before any cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the blades and motor. Never use water or abrasive products. For deep cleaning, remove the blades if necessary.
The fan is noisy, what to do?
Check that the blades are well balanced and tightened. If the noise persists, ensure the housing is securely mounted to the ceiling. A slight clicking may be normal, but unusual noise indicates a manufacturing or installation defect.
How to reverse the rotation direction?
Use the remote control to activate the reverse function. In summer, the blades rotate counterclockwise to create a cooling breeze. In winter, clockwise rotation redistributes heat from the ceiling to the floor.
What is the recommended mounting height?
The recommended height is about 2.5 m between the floor and the blades. For high ceilings, an extension rod may be necessary. Ensure the blades are at least 30 cm away from walls or obstacles.
Can I use the fan outdoors?
No, this model is designed for indoor use only (IP20). Do not install it in a humid bathroom or outdoors, as this may cause damage and electrical risk.
How to program the timer?
Press the 'Timer' button on the remote control. Each press increases the duration: 1h, 2h, 4h, then off. The LED blinks to confirm. The fan will automatically turn off after the selected duration.
Where to find spare parts?
Spare parts (blades, remote control, mounting kit) are available from Cecotec customer service or on their official website. Use the model number to order the correct parts.
