- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years old and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.
- Not suitable for use in a bath or shower.
- When the hair dryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use as the proximity of water presents a hazard even if the dryer is switched off.
- As additional protection, it is recommended that a residual current device (RCD) having a rated operating fault current not exceeding 30 mA be installed in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
- CAUTION: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, sinks or other vessels containing water.
- Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the device rating label and that the plug is earthed.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place to prevent damage to the device if you need to transport it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.
- Do not remove the serial number of the appliance in order to keep a correct traceability of it in case of assistance.

3. OPERATION
The hair dryer emits ions, which protect both hair and skin, add shine, and seal the hair cuticle for total care during use.
- Wash and condition your hair.
- Dry your hair with a towel and comb it.
- Install the desired attachment (concentrator nozzle or diffuser) at the front part of the hair dryer.
- Plug the appliance into a power supply.
- Use the speed and temperature selector to set the desired setting.

Functions
PerfectColour function
The hair dryer features the PerfectColour function, which immediately applies a constant shot of cold air so that coloured hair does not overheat or over-dry, slowing down deterioration and the loss of colour and shine.
Cool-shot function
This function is activated by pressing the cold air shot button once. The hair dryer will start producing cool air. When you have finished using this function, press the same button to deactivate it.
- Once you have finished using the appliance, switch it off and unplug it from the power supply.
- Allow it to completely cool down before cleaning or storing it.
Warning
in case of overheating, the hair dryer will automatically turn off. In this case, unplug it from the power supply and allow it to cool down for a few minutes. Before turning it back on, make sure there are no fluffs, hair, or other objects blocking the air inlet and outlet grille.
Tips
- The hair diffuser is designed to dry straight or curly hair.
- To increase natural hair volume or enhance curls, hold the appliance upright during use. (Fig. 3).
ENGLISH
- If you wish to add volume to the roots, place the diffuser pins between hair, and once in contact with the scalp, move the hair dryer in circles to distribute heat. (Fig. 4).
Warning
Hairsprays contain flammable substances. Do not apply hairspray to your hair before using the appliance.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Turn off and unplug the appliance from the power supply before cleaning or repairing it.
- Use a soft damp cloth with some water to clean the product surface.
- Thoroughly dry the appliance with tissue paper after cleaning it.
- Clean the dust and hair that may block the grille and air inlet or outlet periodically.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water and do not expose it to water while cleaning it.
- To remove the grille, follow the steps shown in figure 5.
