3. OPERATION
Charging
Fully charge the hair clipper before first use or after extended periods of non-use.
Charging, recharging, or using the hair clipper at temperatures below 5°C or above 35°C will adversely affect battery life.
If the hair clipper is subjected to significant changes in temperature, pressure, or humidity, allow it to acclimatise for 30 minutes before use. Continuous recharging of the hair clipper will reduce battery life.
Ensure the hair clipper is switched off.
Insert the USB charging connector into the appliance and connect the other end to a compatible power adapter. Then connect the adapter to the mains supply.
The digital display will show the charging indicator continuously illuminated and display the current battery level (changing from 0% to 100%). This indicates the charging status. When the battery level reaches 100%, the battery is fully charged.
After charging the hair clipper for the first time, do not recharge between trimming sessions. Continue using it until the battery is completely depleted.
Warning: During charging, a slight temperature increase may occur in the device and power adapter; this is normal.
- Do not charge for more than 3 hours
- Do not leave the cable permanently connected.
- If the hair clipper has not been used for an extended period, it should be recharged for a full 3 hours.
Display indications
- During charging, the display shows the charging icon continuously illuminated and the current battery percentage. When the battery is fully charged, the display shows 100.
- During start-up and operation at low speed, the display shows the speed unit/indicator continuously illuminated and displays the low speed value (5500), plus the remaining operating time.
- During high-speed operation, when changing from low to high, the speed indicator remains illuminated and shows the high speed value (6500), plus the remaining operating time.
- During charging and also during use, the display will show a continuous charging indicator with the percentage. When using high or low speed it will show the corresponding speed value, and the speed indicator unit will remain illuminated.
- When the battery is low, the remaining operating time shown on the display flashes as a warning.
- When the "low lubrication" indicator flashes on the display, it indicates that the cutting head should be lubricated with oil (the display will flash several times with the lubrication warning each time it is switched on. If it has not been used for a long time, the head section must be lubricated. If the intervals between lubrication are not long, then it is not necessary).
- If the battery is completely depleted, the hair clipper will not start.
- When the device is switched off and not in use, the display shows nothing.
Cutting head length adjustment
The cutting head has 5 positions to adjust the cutting length/distance, which are adjusted by moving the head adjustment lever: (0.8 mm / 1.2 mm / 1.6 mm / 2.2 mm / 2.8 mm).
You can adjust the length according to your needs, with accessory guide combs of (3 mm, 6 mm, 9 mm, 12 mm).
